FFL Finder is an indispensable app that helps hunters and shooters locate Federal Firearms License holders - our source of not only firearms purchases, but parts, repairs, ammunition, hunting and shooting gear and related accessories.

Imagine you are traveling and your firearm is lost, optics damaged, need ammunition, need repairs - and you need them NOW!

With FFL Finder, you simply open the app and instantly get mapped results of FFL holders near your location (via GPS) or by selecting an area on a map.

FFL Finder Features:
• Filter searches by up to 9 different FFL types
• Search listings using partial names (like those containing certain phrases)
• 2 ways to search: By your current location, or by centering the FFL Finder map on any location in the US.
• Adjustable radius of distance for results
• Dial phone of target listing from within FFL Finder app

NOTE: This app requires an internet or Wi-Fi enabled connection in order to retrieve current data for display/mapping.

Quick Start Instructions:
Open the app on your device.
The main screen appears with a "world view map".
At bottom right, click "My Location". The map should center on your current location, and provide a blue "beacon" for where you are, currently.
Next, click "Search" at bottom right.
You can search using a name, if you would like. Or, leave blank and adjust your search radius. 20 miles is default.
Click "Show Results" and red pins will drop showing you the locations of FFL Holders within your search radius.
Click a pin on the map for a quick view of their name and phone number.
Click the blue arrow at the right of the info box to view full name, address, and location information.

You can also adjust your "Settings" on the bottom left of the screen, in the Hunt Geek menu bar.
This allows for searching/filtering of the different FFL Types.

You can also search for FFL holders by "map center". Why and how, you might ask?
For instance, you might need equipment for a trip that is near SLC, Utah.
To locate FFL holders in Salt Lake City, Utah, you'd simply pinch and zoom the map to that city.
Then, click "search" and then "Show results". The results will be centered around what you see on the map.
This enables you to search for FFL holders in areas where you might not know the zip code, but you do know the location or general area.

Knot Wars (v. 1.05)

Based on the hugely popular segment from the North American Fisherman TV show, Knot Wars pits knots in a head to head battle to determine which knot you can count on in a fight. This app assembles all three seasons of the competition, bringing forty of the strongest fishing knots available to the palm of your hand.

Each knot has simple step by step narration and gorgeous animations that walk you through the tying process, but what really sets this app apart is the unique data on critical break strength accumulated through hours of repeated testing for the show.

Find knots sorted alphabetically or by applications like loop knots, line to line or line to lure. Read tips on each knot and slide through the instructional videos at your own pace. Pause and resume playback with the swipe of a finger until you have even the most complex knots mastered.

Due to the quality and size of the animations, the full package size is approximately 40MB.

Due to the size of the application, Knot Wars will require you to have about 40mb free on your phone's internal storage  to download the app from the market.  Once it's downloaded, the app will install to your SD card (on Android v2.2+).  After the installation is over, a very small footprint will be left on your phone's internal memory.

Knot wars is also compatible with the Galaxy Tab!

Shooting Hours was developed by hunters, for hunters. Accurately calculate Sunrise and Sunset (and Shooting Hours) for turkey, deer, duck, or goose hunting or any activity where sunrise and sunset times are important.
Use your mobile device to notify you of the opening of shooting hours and again when the day's hunt comes to a close.

Shooting Hours was born from days spent in the field checking watches, looking for sunrise and sunset tables and constantly wondering if the information we remembered was accurate.  Never again!  Simply download Shooting Hours to your device, adjust your settings to match your "Shooting Hours" and wait for Shooting Hours to vibrate your device (where available) to let you know when shooting hours have opened and closed.  The application also includes visual Shooting Hours "Open" and "Closed" signs boldly displayed on the main screen.

Shooting Hours Features:
• The ability to calculate accurate sunrise and sunset times based on your location using the GPS in your enabled device.
• Manual location mode to enter your own latitude and longitude for devices that do not offer GPS functionality, of for calculating sunrise and sunset times for locations where GPS reception may not be available.
• Customized "Shooting Hours" settings so that you can set when your shooting hours open and close to adjust for legal hunting hours for a specific species or state/location.  Choose from various presets or use your own specific times.
• Vibration notification at the opening and closing of shooting hours, along with visual cue on-screen while the app is running.
• 30-day outlook showing sunrise, sunset and moon phases tables for your current location.
