Shove It is an extreme version of old game 'Shove Halfpenny'. You have to 'shove' a counter towards a target avoiding or interacting with obstacles that lie in your path. Multiple score combos, star ratings and achievements keep you addicted.

'Pick up' the counter by placing your finger over it.

'Shove' the counter towards the target by moving your finger over the throw line at the bottom of the screen.

Once the counter crosses the line it is released and will follow a path determined by the direction and speed at which your finger was moving.

Get the counter within the target to progress to the next level. The closer the counter is to the target the greater the score.

Stars are awarded based on how close you have come to the center of the target.

*** - Within 6 on the center
** - Within 12 on the center
* - Within 24 on the center

Each throw that recieves a star adds to a combo counter increasing the points you score for the next level. Failing to earn a star (or failing to hit the target) resets this counter. An extra life is awarded every 3000 points.

Practice
Once a level has been 'unlocked' by reaching it in the main game, it is available to practice on from the practice menu. Here you can work to improve your star rating, continue to earn achievements and take your new skills back to the main game.

Achievements
There are a number of achievements to complete outside the normal rules of the game. More lives are awarded for the main game as you accumulate more achievements (up to 3 extra) in the Pro version.

Dog Spotting (v. 1.1)

Note dogs as you spot them in real life. Great in short bursts while on a walk or as an obsession until you get them all!
All dogs breeds recognised by The Kennel Club are included, most with pictures and descriptions. Makes this a great reference application for any dog lover.

Optionally allows you to record the location at which you spotted the dog.

Car Spotting (v. 1.1)

Note cars as you spot them in real life. Great in short bursts to wile away a long car journey or as an obsession until you get them all!

Pictures and descriptions included for cars ranging from the every day to the exotic. Makes this a great reference application for any car enthusiast.

Optionally tag the location where you spotted the car.

Word Run (v. 1.1)

Find as many words as possible from a pile of 7 random letters against the clock. Get a 'run' of words from the same set of letters to increase word score.

Select letters from the 'Rack' in the middle of the screen to form a word of 3 or more letters.

If the word is listed in the dictionary and the word hasn't already been used on the level then the word is accepted. The word will be added to an area at the bottom of the screen for reference.

If you can't find any more words from the rack then advance to the next level and receive new letters.

The more words you find on any one level the higher the score you get for that word. This score is reset when advancing to a new level so it pays to find as many words as possible on any given level.

The more letters a word contains the more time is added to your game for finding the word.

There are a number of achievements to complete outside the normal rules of the game. These include having a particularly good run of words within a level, having consistently good runs over a number of levels, and finding a set number of words in each word length group.

There is a small bonus added to you time when you start a new game based on the number of achievements you have completed.

These words arn't really words / A common word is not included.

There are a great many words in use in the english language and I cannot hope to please everyone as to their definition of what is a word or not. The 2 dictionaries offered to use are official word lists used in tournament Scrabble. I think if anyone knows whether a word should be in or out of a game like this then it's these guys.

Social Secrets allows you scramble messages so that only you, or trusted friends, can read them.

Messages are scrambled with an optional key. If a key is used the message cannot be unscrambled without the same key used to scramble it.

A key can be any character / number combination - a name maybe? A 3 digit key can be generated automatically with the 'Create' button.

Once a message has been scrambled you can copy it to the clipboard (to paste into another app / web site / email / text message / etc.) or post directly to twitter or facebook.

On receiving the message it can be pasted back into Social Secrets to unscramble. If a key was used to scramble, it must be entered too.
