The Yandex.News widget helps you keep up-to-date with the day's main events in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
When you click on a news headline, the full article will open in a web version of Yandex.News that has been specially adapted for Android.
The widget can be used in both compact (1x4) and full-screen (4x4) mode. In compact mode, it automatically scrolls through the news headlines, while full-screen mode lets you browse the news by a topic of your choice.
The news feed is updated 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and all the stories are provided by leading news agencies.

[2013-06-14] A Google User: Language ""NOT ENGLISH" --NO SH$% Sherlock! These are news from a Russian website!" Yeah, the user that left this is an idiot. And the developer isn't the brightest tool in the shed. I suppose this is a good way to inflate your numbers though-- just take one of the cooler apps on android, SPB Shell 3D, release a better version in an English Digital Store, for an English speaking market, replace all spaces in the name with a "." To make it impossible to search for, then...the user can just uninstall the app immediately when they find out it's in Russian. The name, the description, the reviews, the stats, the developer information and email, are all in English...why wouldn't the app be in English. Come on! This is a scam! At last put the word "Russian" in the name! I'd pay for an English version of all the apps! Either take this out of the freak in English market, translate it, or stop scamming people and mark it as what it is! Russian! |
