The iCycleBeads app enables a woman to plan or prevent pregnancy easily and effectively by tracking her periods and identifying her fertile and non-fertile days. It is the only Android app in the world based on the patented Standard Days Method®, a modern natural family planning method that has been researched extensively in large-scale clinical trials.

iCycleBeads is a new way to use this effective, side-effect free, easy to use, and educational family planning method.  The app features the visual tool CycleBeads which has been used by millions of women worldwide to help them track their cycles and use this method correctly either as birth control or to plan a pregnancy.

To use iCycleBeads, a user simply confirms that her cycles are in the 26-32 day range required for correct use of this family planning method**. She then inputs the date her most recent period started. The app immediately lets her know what day she is on in her cycle, and whether she is on a fertile day or an infertile day as determined by the Standard Days Method of family planning.  She can then use this information to either plan or avoid a pregnancy.  This information is provided in both a calendar format and in a visual representation of CycleBeads.  

Key features include:
• Individualized visual representations of a user’s cycle based on the start date of her period in both calendar and CycleBeads formats
• Customizable alerts notifying a user when she is in her fertile window, when her fertile window is ending, and when she is likely to start her next period
• An alert reminding a user to input her period start date
• An alert notifying the user when she has had a cycle outside the range of 26-32 days long
• A notes feature which allows a woman to track key information that she may want to discuss with her health provider
• Ongoing cycle data history that allows a user to easily see the start dates of her previous cycles as well as her cycle lengths

iCycleBeads is based on a modern calendar-based family planning method. Many people confuse calendar-based family planning methods in general with the “rhythm method”. This is incorrect. The “rhythm method” is vaguely understood, not well defined, confusing to use, and largely untested. On the contrary, iCycleBeads is based on a family planning method that is thoroughly researched, clearly defined, easy to use, easy to teach, and highly effective. "Crash" upadate!
Some people have reported the app freezing their device. This is not 'Freezing' but an expected update of the app when it is first installed. The screen will be blank for up to a couple minutes (depending on your internet speed connection) and then will load the app. Do not close the app or force quit during this update and all will load fine. In the next update, I will add a loading screen to alert you the app is downloading.

Our test simulator has all the necessary features and options any test taker could ask for. The test simulator can modify the time limit for each question, pause the exam, modify the question amount per exam, continue the exam after screen lock or phone call, go back to a previous question and much, much more!

Peek Question is a feature that lets the test taker see the correct answer while still taking the exam. This feature also outputs the rationale(if available) to the screen accompanying the correct answer.

Note Question is a feature that lets the test taker add a note to any question she encounters.  This note can be viewed later on by encountering the question during another test simulation or, if the question has been starred, in view mode.

Star Question is a feature that lets the test taker “Bookmark” a question for future reference.  All starred questions are listed on the home screen of the application which can be reviewed with a single press of a button.

Exam History is an attribute that tracks the user’s test taking history. This feature displays when the exam was taken, how many questions were asked, how many questions were answered correctly, the name of the test taker, and an icon if the test taker used the Peek feature.

Diseases and Clinical Conditions are organized by type (bacterial, fungal, mycobacterial, parasitic and viral). Bacterial diseases are further organized by site of infection and organism. Drug Information is similarly organized by type. Therapeutic Adjuncts include post-exposure antimicrobial prophylaxis (e.g., hepatitis, HIV, rabies), as well as preventative prophylaxis for surgical procedures and post-transplants. Comparison Tables include activity spectra tables for bacteria, fungi and viruses. These tables are color-coded for ease of use.

Extensive internal links provide efficient navigation to related content. For instance, drug regimens on disease pages are linked to corresponding pages for each drug containing comprehensive information on usage, dosing, adverse effects, activity, pharmacology, pharmacodynamics and drug-drug interactions. Broad topics such as meningitis and pneumonia include Overview pages with an outline and links to all sub-topics for that disease.
