Günümüzde cep telefonlarının kullanımı fazlasıyla yaygınlaştı. Bu yaygın kullanım günlük hayata önce arama ve kısa mesaj servisi (sms) ile girdi. Daha sonraları ise cep telefonu kullanıcıları, farklı  servisleri kullanarak cep telefonu kullanımının yaygınlığını arttırdı. Bu yaygınlaşma sürecinin günümüzdeki ayağı ise mobil uygulamalardır.

Bu mobil uygulama, bazı cep telefonları, tablet bilgisayarlar gibi Android işletim sistemini kullanan cihazlar için Java dilinde geliştirilmiştir. Bu uygulamanın geliştirilmesindeki hedef ise yemek yapmak isteyen cihaz kullanıcılıarına yeni deneyimler katmaktır.

'Tarifini Bul' uygulaması, Türk mutfağı yemek tariflerinden oluşmaktadır. Uygulama, veritabanındaki tüm yemek tariflerini, hazırlama süreleri ve kalorileriyle, kullanıcı dostu bir arayüz ile sunmaktadır.
