VisitSerbia is travel guide for tourists in Serbia. You can book free of charge in hotels, motels and apartments. Payment is at reception. VisitSerbia is an application for tourists in Serbia. You can make reservations for hotels, guest houses, apartments. Payment is at the reception.

VisitSerbia application allows you to find and book a hotel in Serbia via the reservation system of VisitSerbia.org. You can search a hotel in a desired date and send your reservation request. An operator will contact you within a few minutes to confirm the reservation. Our operators are available 24 hours.

This application allows you to:
1. Search and make a reservation of hotel (and other accommodation facilities) in Serbia
2. Insight to your reservation status
3. Contact with the operator services for reservations, which is available 24 hours a day.
When you search for hotels it shows only hotels that have available accommodation in the requested period. The system currently has over 130 hotels in Serbia which signed the contract which commits them to keep a regular and accurate updates of their hotel offer, availability and prices.

When you enter the hotel information, it displays detailed description of the hotel, and billing rates for the requested period, indicating if the breakfast and city tax are included in the price or not. The application also displays photos and detailed information about the hotel. In the new version of the application there will be a map, picture resolution will be higher and there will be more information about hotels.

For now, when choosing a hotel by clicking the “Book” button, application sends the reservation to the operator who then calls the client to take additional information and finish the booking process.

In the next version, the search results will display only accommodation facilities that enable provision without a credit card and which will enable that the entire booking process will have instant confirmation of reservation.
Insights into the existing reservation allows customers, instead to search through their crowded mail boxes, to have all the details of the reservation in one place. In addition to data about the reservation such as reservation number, hotel address, date of stay at the hotel and the final guaranteed price customers will pay at the reception, there is also a description of how to get to the hotel which proves to be a very useful information for clients (assuming that the hotel fill this information in the system).

Call button allows the operator direct contact with booking service, which is available non-stop.

Twit2LJ is a service that runs on your phone. Once per day (at 4 AM by default), it takes all the tweets you posted during the previous 24 hours, and formats them into a Livejournal post. It also takes pictures that you linked to (from pic.twitter.com or flic.kr), and shows them in the Livejournal post.

To set up Twit2LJ, launch the app, enter your twitter username, livejournal username, and livejournal password. Then check the options you want. Finally, click "Post Daily Digest to LJ Now" to do a test post. The log at the bottom of the config screen will show any errors that are encountered (like a typoed username or password), or will say "Success!" when it has completed without error.

You phone must have a data connection at the appointed time for the automatic posting to work. If it doesn't, it will retry every 20 minutes.

TextGate is a great tool if you write a lot of SMS and perhaps sit by a computer for work or at school. Simply fire up the TextGate app on your phone, then login to the TextGate web interface and start writing and receiving text messages through your web browser instead of using your phone's smaller and more difficult keyboard to write them.

It's very easy and it's completely free (except for the data traffic and SMS fees that you normally have).

TextGate polls the TextGate server with the chosen interval (can be chosen from the menu in the app), and if there are new messages to send, the TextGate app will send them using your phone and your phone number. So it will be just like if you sent the SMS from your phone, with the only difference that you actually typed it into your web browser instead.

Here's a preliminary version of Gambit Scheme for the Android platform, inspired by Marc Feeley's iOS version.

Gambit Scheme is a "complete, portable, efficient, and reliable implementation of the Scheme programming language, conforming to the R4RS, R5RS and IEEE Scheme standards, and implementing all optional features. Tail calls and first class continuations conform to the Scheme semantics. The full numeric tower is implemented, including: arbitrary precision integers (bignums), rationals, inexact reals (floating point numbers), and complex numbers."

Gambit for Android includes the ability to interact with a Gambit Scheme REPL (read-evaluate-print-loop), add and save Scheme scripts, and start and telnet into a REPL server running on the device.
