This application is a traditional Japanese card game called "Hanafuda".

Endless Fun! I am addicted to Koi Koi since watching Summer Wars, so this app is wonderful for me. I especially like that it doesn't leave out Viewing the Cherry Blossoms or Viewing the Moon, as some rule sets do. The scoring is unique, but makes the game challenging. People complaining that you can't win it seem to have a rigid view of what a game should be. It isn't about "winning". It's about seeing how far you can go and topping your previous scores. Today I made it 34 rounds and scored 202 points. I was really excited because that's more than double my previous high score out of the last couple years I've played this game! Great app. The best of its kind that I've seen. I enjoy it immensely! Also people complaining about some of the cards having the wrong values should realize that this is Hanafuda Koi Koi (Japanese), not Hwatu Go-Stop (Korean)!

Hanafuda incorrect The game is ok. Graphics are accurate, but the way the game is played is so wrong. I guess it is just a different style. The (yaku) combo's are not complete or are completely different from what I am used to. For one thing, the Gaji, has zero power which is total BS! That red and black card is the most powerful card in the deck, yet in this game, it is rubbish. Also, why are 10 rubbish cards worth anything. Why does the card playing stop if someone chooses to end the hand after getting a yaku? More..

As being said Rules are made more difficult to win. But that's a positive thing, at least it makes you think. Although there is no winning as such, game goes past 12 rounds and past 100 points. How do you win then?

It is fixed in such way it is impossible to win continually even for the experienced person. I suggest other hanafuda applications which is lot better

Uses its own scoring system This game uses its own scoring system so that it's a tough opponent. Good presentation, fast and solid gameplay. Though not the one to go for if you're after "standard" Koi-Koi.

Love the game, needs new features I've been addicted to this game since i bought it. I absolutely love it to death EXCEPT! And as many other users have stated, it needs the option for 3/6/12 round games, as opposed to the silly point system. Don't get me wrong, I love trying to beat my high scores, however a traditional game would be nice. Also, Pass and Play would be great! please listen to us dev!

Incredibly simple and dangerously addictive! Tough to play if you can't read Japanese, unless you already know the rules of koi-koi hanafuda.
