If you do your research you'd know the concept of the seven day week originated in Jewish and Babylonian culture, based on their belief of a seven-day creation, with significance placed on the 7th (sabbath) day As for the rest of the calendar, we currently use the Gregorian calendar, which is a minor modification of the Julian calendar, named after the man who created it, Julius Caesar. So, yes, the people of the Roman Empire used largely the same calendar we use now. |

Pacific & am a strong believer in Faith, i.e. having belief in something or someone, when there's no evidence to support such concepts. But, I know the earth wasn't made in 6 days! It spawned from a giant coconut, whose milk became the seas & inside held the word of Lárkipang, "the intestine of Ma-nnap." Then a pang grew out of the Lárki's tornso, which gave rise to the Great Nap that's torn into a "Test in Mann," until we turn white as coconut pulp. Lárkipang blesses you!! |

[2012-08-13] A Google User: Good trivia I just wanted to comment to Danial and how you claim Jesus was buried on Wednesday evening and rose on Saturday evening, the Sabbath starts on Friday evening and ends Saturday evening , they broke the legs of the men on the crosses so they would die faster to get them off the crosses, Jesus was already dead this happened Friday afternoon, He rose on Sunday morning after the Sabbath. |
