In the event of an emergency, time is of the essence. The Honolulu Tsunami Evacuation Zones app allows you to quickly and easily discover if you are in a tsunami evacuation zone. Search for your loved ones (via address) and share the app so they can do the same. It can even help you navigate to the nearest refuge or shelter. Be prepared and download it today!

Key features:
-Displays tsunami related information for the island of Oahu
-My Location = overlays your device's GPS location on the map
-Address Search = manually search for an address by street and city
-Share = tell your friends and family about the app via social networks, text message, email, etc.
-Tap screen once = displays address for that point
-Tap same address twice = starts Google Navigation with that address as the destination
-Tap and drag = pan the map
-Double tap = zoom in on the map
-Tap with two fingers = zoom out on the map
-Pinch = zoom in/out on the map

Explanation of permissions:
-Your location = allows the app to overlay your GPS location on the map
-Storage = allows the app to cache map tiles to the storage device
-Network communication = allows the app to download the basemap and tsunami evacuation zone layer data

Tips:
If you experience issues with the GPS/My Location feature:
1. Please enable all available Location services (Settings > Location/Location & security). The number and names of these services differ by carrier/device but enabling all available services should allow for the best performance and accuracy in obtaining your location.
2. If conditions allow, please move to a location with a clear view of the sky. GPS enabled apps (including this one) work best outdoors with no overhead obstructions.
3. Please check to see if you can get a satellite lock with another GPS enabled app (e.g. Google Maps). If you still cannot get a lock, there may be an issue with the device rather than the app.

This is my first ever android app. It fetches the most recent raw METAR (and now TAF) data for any airport in the world from NOAA. Comments and ratings are appreciated!

AndroTide is a tidal plot widget. Long press your home screen to add the widget. The predicted tide for the next 24 hours is plotted, along with a marker showing the current tide height. The day's maximum and minimum are also shown. This widget comes in a 2x1 and 4x2 size, and has different color themes available.

It has been tested to work with tablets (Android v3.0 & v3.1). AndroTide is for infotainment purposes only. Do not rely on this software for navigation or other hazardous activity.

Proper ventilation helps avoiding mold! This apps helps to decide if airing makes sense by calculating the expected relative humidity after ventilation. You can use this app to determine if you should open your windows for airing or not.

It calculates the expected relative humidity at a temperature ("inside"), if the temperature and humidity is at given values ("outside").

If the humidity is below 65% the number is shown in green, otherwise red. Humidity should be less than 65% to prevent mold growth.

It gives you a good approximation for the expected humidity after ventilation at the assumption that the air is completely exchanged.
An ideal model is assumed, you can think of a bottle full of air: the air in the bottle has a certain temperature and relative humidity (labeled "outside" in this app), if you now change the temperature of the air in the bottle, the relative humidity will change to a new level (labeled "inside").

Temperature unit °C or °F can be set in Settings menu screens.

La qualità dell’aria in qualsiasi momento e luogo della Svizzera italiana.

L’applicazione informa sullo stato attuale della qualità dell’aria nel luogo in cui vi trovate o nel Comune scelto ed elenca una serie di attività proposte per dare il vostro personale contributo a migliorare la qualità dell’aria.

La mappa e la ricerca per Comune permettono di selezionare altri luoghi o farsi un’idea globale. Le mappe degli inquinanti sono aggiornate con cadenza oraria.

L’applicazione “Qualità dell’aria” - voluta dal Dipartimento del Territorio della Repubblica e Cantone Ticino – rappresenta un nuovo canale d’informazione a complemento di quelli già a disposizione dell’utente interessato (siti web, servizi sms, bollettini radiofonici, etc.).

“Qualità dell’aria” è un secondo test effettuato dall’Amministrazione cantonale e solamente con il suo feedback potremo migliorare e continuare a percorrere questa via. Se lo desidera, quindi, è possibile inviare i commenti direttamente tramite l’Android Market, oppure scrivendo a dt-webmaster@ti.ch.
