Great app for backcountry motorcycle too! Worth the donation! Being able to easily overlay kml is great. My only wish is to be able to increase the font size in google terrain maps. There appears to be a font multiplier, but it doesn't seem to work... 5 stars if we could do this!

Fantastic app, with a few quirks This is my absolute favorite app for outdoors use. I have other (paid) apps, but OruxMaps still beats them hands down. This is already a five-star app, but it would be nice to see some cleanup on the interface (I'm not easily scared by interfaces, being a command-line guy, but OruxMaps tends to be redundant and a bit confusing at times.) Also, the pinch-to-zoom feature is just plain broken. Fixing it would make this awesome app even better.

So powerful. I think this is the best app for navigating on your phone. It has excellent support for kml and gpx formats. It works with a large selection of map databases. (My favourite for cycle touring is OpenCycleMap.) It integrates with several cloud services. I have used several apps, including Maverick Pro and this is certainly the most comprehensive and configurable. It now works perfectly on my tablet too. Because it is so powerful, perhaps it would be good to have more help on how to use it best...

Fantastic app Amazing! Tracks your movements in relation to online maps, offline maps, tracks made by others you can upload from the web. Vast quantity of detailed maps made available, vast quantity of information produced by on-board computer, which can be saved and exported. Many many other functions. Only downside is bad translation of English manual, but I hope it will be improved.

Best app avail for cycling I have tried most if not all of the cycling apps and keep coming to the conclusion that this is the best one avail with ipbike being a close second. the author has done a good job updating the app and it is one of the easiest to use. has a user manual on website which is a plus.

The Best Offline Topo App Just Got Better With the latest update, there's USGS topo map sources built in, and the ability to overlay multiple map sources means the TopOSM topo maps are actually usable. As always, the offline map creator is amazing. The track statistics are great. Hands down the best mapping app in the market for hiking, skiing, and any other backcountry activity!

Stepped Zoom. The high ratings surprise me. The zoom is achieved with different map layers so when trying to zoom I cannot fit the map area to the perfect size. It drives me crazy so I switched to Locus Pro. I trust the great reviews so I must be the only person that doesn't like that. The Orux app is fill featured and I plan to keep it too. Razr HD.

Dippy Phil Best Navigation app on market, I have found a few good Nav apps but this one blew me away, good layout very adaptable but no auto routing as yet, I prefer to create routes using other program's and drop them into track log folder ( Google maps will do ) . Dedicated GPS so take time to use all functions, Enjoy. My Garmin 60csx scores 3 this scores 10 out of 10.

Excellent, full featured mapping app Having experimented with the free version for a week or so, I've now paid for this app. It really is excellent, if a little overwhelming at first due to the sheer amount of features that the developer has included (this makes the 'settings' menu a little hard to use until you get familiar with the app - stick with it, it's well worth the investment of your time).
