GPS Map Pro has the following features:
* Everything that GPS Map offers
* No advertising and more space to view the map
* Automatically upgrades from GPS Map if the file /sdcard/gpsmap/gpsmap.db3 exists. Use Database Management activity to export the database to this file, or click the Go Pro button when attempting to Import Placemarks to create this file
* Ability to import and export from many formats: GPSMap/GPSMap Pro GPS, Garmin CSV, TomTom ASCII, Google Earth/Google Maps KML, and GPS Exchange GPX files. The ad-supported version is able to only export these formats. Support both UTF-8 and ISO-8859-2 encoded files.
* Tracks - record your location over time and later view your Track colored according to your speed, or the color that you choose
* Placemarks - mark and geodecode your current location with a Placemark and your own image
* Change Location - change the location of a Placemark by pressing a new location on the map
* Mock Location - allows use of any Placemark to act as My Location
* Images - import images for Markers, import Images with GPS Information as Markers and Placemarks, view images, select default image for new Placemarks, or delete images.
* Markers - Manage Placemarks by Marker, and filter for Main Map, Placemark list, and Export Placemarks.
* Navigation to selected Placemark with your navigation application.
* Search - input text with an address, landmark name, or latitude, longitude to search for a location to geodecode and Placemark.
* Search nearby a Placemark location for keywords like "Pizza" or "Restaurant" and have them displayed.
* Show Route allowing route to be displayed on the map to the selected Placemark.
* Street View allowing selected Placemark to be shown in Google Street View (if location is available).
* Database Management - activity that allows exporting, merging, importing, and resetting the database.
* Export Database - saves the database of all existing Placemarks, Markers, and Images.
* Merge Database - merges in a database of existing Placemarks, Markers, and Images without duplication.
* Import Database - replaces existing database of all existing Placemarks, Markers, and Images.
* Reset Database - deletes all Placemark, Markers, and Images.
* Android Integration
- Compatible with Honeycomb (Android 3.0)
- Use Camera, Gallery or File Explorer application to import Images to be used for Markers and/or Placemarks
- Export Placemarks to a local file or email application
- Other applications able to share images to GPSMap/GPSMap Pro to import an image as a Marker and/or Placemark, or for KML download and import Placemarks.
