Informative, useful Generally it is a great application, especially taking into consideration that it is free. The suggested self guided tours are detailed with interesting information. The only issues I had with them: 1. Some are too long - perhaps an additional short version should be added; 2. When asking for directions, the app transfers to Google maps which then requires data connection = $$$! In summary: 4.5 to 5 stars. Keep on the good work.

Tops. Like all Trip Advisor apps, this is the best companion guide you can ask for. Download everything over WiFi before you leave and all you need is a GPS signal to show you where you are on the map and follow the guides and read reviews as you move around. Invaluable when looking for a restaurant or highlight in a new location.

Essential apps for tourist Recently I decided to go for an Europe tour on my own. As a young person, reading the travel guide book is not my forte. With this application and with the variety of selection of cities in Europe, I could just go anywhere and everywhere without hassle. Before I arrive in the particular city, I will read the background information provided and plan my way to my hotel from the airport. The information given is accurate and users are allowed to share their experience for the others to read, which is helpful

Great app. No coffeeshops This app is amazing. It works offline and lets you find anything easily and even shows reviews. The only draw back is the obvious lack of coffeshops. It is Amsterdam after all! I had to find a totally different app to locate coffee shops. They should add them to the map.

Poor Not very helpful. One major flaw is that there are no tram or bus maps. It includes the metro, but the metro is very limited. The tram is the most useful public transport in amsterdam.

Fantastic, could never have gotten around without it I just spent 10 days in Amsterdam and this app is amazing. I used it constantly as a realtime map and to find restaurants, pubs, etc. A couple of times I was in front of my destination that was poorly marked, perhaps just a beer sign, but not the proper name of the restaurant and the realtime arrow would tell me I was 75 ft passed. Brilliant. Used it while riding bikes all over town. I did have my favorite restaurant disappear out of the database but over all it was a godsend.worked better than Google maps.

Missing important tourist info. Very good app for traveling, but where are the coffee shop reviews? The main reason many choose to visit Amsterdam is the cannabis culture. Stupid politically correct censorship ...
