Deal spam in latest update The app now randomly puts deals in the notification bar. There's no way to turn them off. There's also no way to filter the deals, so they are not relevant to me. Uninstalling.

Great app Very helpful to get my bearings wherever I was in the city. I got sick of the updates messages popping up on my phone so I uninstalled it. Probably a Verizon HTC issue, not the app. I'll reinstall for the next time I'm in NYC.

Allow gmail accounts. This is a brilliant app. There are a few things that need fixing, like the deals, as I don't see any, but all in all it's a great app. Allow saving using gmail accounts, not just Facebook. There are more people with gmail accounts compared to the number of people with Facebook accounts.

I really wanted to use this app Even if I kill the app in task manager, it reloads and comes right back and constantly polls for my GPS location. Not only is this a privacy concern, but it runs my battery into the ground!! And speaking of privacy, why does this application need full read and write access to my contacts, my phone logs, my phone's serial number, the ability to send SMS messages with my knowledge, and more? I mean, what on earth do they need that for? I uninstalled it. I don't want spyware on my phone that sucks my battery dry.

Still checking out But disappointed when searching for jazz or jazz club doesn't give the Village Vanguard and Birdland in the results. Not sure this app is worth it. Uninstall, the app from Trip Advisor can be used offline (better for tourists) and gives better search results.

I have lived in NYC mist of my life and I needed a SUBWAY may while walking down the street and BAM... the map was on my iPhone and it work well...also have it on my Android Devices.... love it...

Quite good.... I "got" to use the parking-finder the other day: fellow ny-ers will understand: I don't have a car, so until now this feature was useless, but it works! A couple minor issues: I contacted the dev team MONTHS ago, but my church is still not listed when I'm INSIDE IT. I highly doubt there's been no crime in all of NYC in 242 days. And a bus schedule might be nice (except that they're never on time anyway, so what's the point?) Other than that, very useful!

Internet Access to view map Needed to see the subway map while underground and couldn't..app needed Internet access to open. That's a deal breaker for me. All the other features are cool but uninstalling anyway.
