'My OC Transpo' is a unique transportation App that helps you find your way around Ottawa and the Valley. The App received recognition for 'Getting Around' category at the Apps4Ottawa contest that ran in February 2011.

The many features in this App help tourists and daily commuters find bus stops, obtain accurate and real-time route arrival times. It utilizes GPS, and GTFS data provided by OC Transpo.

Don't update This app used to be amazing but with the recent updates the info is no longer accurate. The time till the bus comes is now only based on the scheduled time rather than where the bus actually is. This also means that the live GPS info is no longer available. It also means that the type of bus listed is inaccurate. Why did you break something that worked?

Decent, but unreliable Favourites are easily lost and/or take a long time to refresh. Times are often off and not reliable (I.e says bus will arrive for the last 15 minutes, but once the 15 mins pass and there's no bus, it is suddenly another 15 mins away.) It is a good idea, but too many shortfalls with the current version.

Great App for anyone to use This app is so easy to use and the accuracy is amazing. I put it on my senior citizen mother's phone and she loves it too. Way to go! Only problem is adding new favourites.

Widget doesnt work properly. App serves its purpose... nothing more After I've selected what route to have on my widget, it shows an error message: no data available. I need to be sure that this apps bus schedules are updated often but theres no clear way of knowing that

Great when it works; awful when it doesn't. The stop times option frequently shows "there are no trips available at this time" when it's midday on a weekday (94 and 95 are definitely running). The travel planner is iffy and for some reason when I put in an exact hour (ex. 10:00) it will show up as that hour +12 min (ex. 10:12). I also don't think it necessarily gives you the best routes(although that could be oc transpo as well). I think when it isn't being buggy, it is a great app.

On a downward trend Travel Planner, stop times and route times frequently not working! I am actively looking for another app! DOWNFALL - Travel Planner is so annoying because you can't toggle between it and the other options without having to re-enter all the info again. Pain in the butt. WISH 1 - There was a way to see the options of the way you could go. Sometimes I know a way would work better for me and I can't get it. WISH 2 - REALLY WANT a way to find out what time I will get to my destination while en route.

Really frustrating since last major update I've used this on two different versions of android OS and had the same problems: pressing the "start" button on the main page elicits no response (have to restart app); subsequent screen changes get overlaid on top of previous page views (ex. I see the text for my favourites list underneath the text on the search for a route page). Also can't find info for stops on a detour, and no listing/search for stops nearby

So-so I grew up in york region and the viva system is great for mobile, its very frustrating that when I use the oc transpo one that it is pretty confusing, when i pick a stop number it gives me other stop number options, if i am standing at smyth a, i shouldnt be getting smyth b bus routes, its very confusing, also you should have an option fot next bus available. Sometimes i just want to know what the next bus coming is, instead of looking through alll the routes coming to my stop! Everything else is great!

Efficient but not quick. I hate that i can only favourite the specific bus instead of the bus stop so i can look at each bus coming to the stop easily. I have to go back to favourites and re select the bus even though it used to give you the stop number and let you choose which route you want to follow. Deleting and downloading another app that lets me do just that.

So close... It has all the potential to be a 5-star app, but 2 things have been driving me nuts about it. 1. It does not recognize the majority of addresses that I input into the travel planner - Google Maps is a MUCH better option for this feature. 2. For the majority of stops that I've entered, it only gives the next 3 trips for each route, I can't see the whole stop schedule even though one of the tabs is supposed to contain exactly that. Good try, but it really needs improvements.

Buggy update New update removed route schedules , disabled gps tracking and left a bug that killed my battery in just 8 hours. Revert back to the previous version until the features are restored or bugs fixed. Sad I updated, now I don't have an app to use at all

Terrible This app is clunky and frustrating to use. GPS tracking is nice (when it's actually available...) but I often give up trying to get the information I need out of it and use my browser to check the website instead.

Fonctionne bien mais pourrait être amélioré. J'aime utiliser cette application. Je trouve que c'est même plus facile de l'utiliser que de faire la recherche en ligne. Par contre, j'aimerais qu'il y ait un moyen d'avoir accès aux données obtenues une fois hors ligne (j'aimerais par exemple pouvoir faire une recherche de trajet sur le wifi chez moi et avoir encore accès au trajet une fois déconnectée). L'application efface les données une fois que je me suis déconnectée. J'aimerais aussi pouvoir mémoriser mes principaux lieux utilisés pour pouvoir sauver du temps.

Could be better. There are two things that would make this app perfect. First, when I click a station stop, like Baseline 1a, it just gives a list of all the buses that stop at Baseline, in both directions. It's annoying, but still workable. Also, the upcoming trips tab doesn't work half the time.

Fake data This shows how the buses should be running, NOT how they really are running. No wonder anytime I report massive delays to OCTranspo I always get the same reply: "our data show the buses were running on schedule" --- I just got a reply saying they only estimate buses schedule but in the overview they claim this app can "Display up to 3 trips using GPS real-time data". The app makes it look like it's providing real time data from the buses but in fact it is not

Better before update After the update this app has caused me to mix up what bus I'm looking at bc even if you click a business route and direction SPECIFICALLY like 95 barrhaven for some reason both directions show up unlike before where it would just show the one you want. Yes it's my mistake for not noticing it says Orleans instead but if you click one direction it should only show times for that direction. Plus it constantly stops working even if I'm using lte speeds. I wish it would just go back to the way it was.
