This GPS Test application displays satellite information and general GPS status.  Intended as a test tool for platform engineers and as a sample open-source GPS app to help application developers new to GPS.

Menu options:
   • Start/Stop - Start/stop the GPS hardware
   • Send Location - After a latitude and longitude has been acquired, you can share this info
   • Inject Time - Injects Time assistance data for GPS into the platform, using information from a  Network Time Protocol (NTP) server
   • Inject XTRA Data - Injects XTRA assistance data for GPS into the platform, using information from a XTRA server (see http://goo.gl/3RjWX for details on gpsOneXTRA)
   • Clear Aiding Data - Clears all assistance data used for GPS, including NTP and XTRA data (Note: if you select this option to fix broken GPS on your device, for GPS to work again you may need to ‘Inject Time’ and ‘Inject XTRA’ data)
   • Settings - Set map tile type, keep screen on

Startup Manager (Free) (v. 4.7)

Startup Manager aims at helping disable/enable startup items from system boot for Android devices including smartphones and tablets. To disable an item from system startup, uncheck the application from the list (recheck to restore and it will start again). For other item that do not start with system boot, please use “Customize” to add and enable it to start with system boot.

Supported languages: English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian, and Indonesian.

User tab shows all the user applications that have restart function. You can uncheck them all to enhance system startup speed. Long tap an app name will give you access to enable/disable, read application info about, uninstall the app and search the app in Android Market.

System tab shows all the system processes that start with system boot. Some processes may not be necessary to start due to our using habits and preferences. Please uncheck these processes only if you know well about the effects of disabling them.

If you want to add a new item that does not start with device boot, Customize is the best choice.

Besides features above, from Startup Manager Menu - settings you can also select if you want to calculate system startup time and disable system boot sound.

Note: For android 2.2 and higher OS non-rooted devices, some processes will restart themselves right after being disabled.

For those who have color tint screens. This app will create a filter to reduce color tint on your screen, or use this app to dim your screen if it is too bright.

You can see result of filter by using 'Screen Test' which is included in this app, you can also use this feature to find dead pixels on your screen.

Furthermore, this app includes a funny feature "Filter Effect" which you can use 'Scanline Effect' to change your screen to be looked like CRT monitor.


***NOTE***

***OLED screen owner please read***
(AMOLED screen of Samsung Galaxy S, Super AMOLED Plus screen of Samsung Galaxy S II, etc.)

- you should use only white, gray or black filter only.
- using color filter (not white, gray or black) for a long time may cause your screen more color tint. (it's about OLED screen property, not my fault)
- using any color filter other than black will cause black pixel being not 'true black' pixel anymore. (that means some power is required for black pixel)
- if the filter does not cover all of your screen, please uninstall this app because this may cause irregular color burn to your screen.

The filter disappear randomly.
- This is because Android system kills some services due to low memory condition. Sadly, This cannot be fixed. However, the system will start killed services again in a few seconds. So, you don't have to start service by yourself.
