A very quickly hack of the built-in VPN Settings. I tried to modify to save passwords. Although passwords are encrypted and stored roughly, so anyone can normally access to the app data folder, use at your own risk.
* L2TP secret and L2TP/IPSec are not available due to the keystore issue.

A (s)imple, (l)ight(w)eight, wlan / wifi scanner widget. It displays the wlan / wifi networks in your neighborhood. This will help you to find a free channel and configure your own wlan network on a channel which is not allready occupied. No ads. 100% fat free. Only 22 Kb small so it won't eat up your device storage space. It starts to scan once you push the "scan" button. Push the "stop" button to ...guess what... stop scanning!
First Number is Channel Number, second is signal level, the last column is the network name.
It needs 3x2 cells on the home screen.
This is a widget so you need to drop it on your homescreen it is not an app.

If you like more of those simple, lightweight widgets which only ask you for the permissions they realy need and don't fill up you phone with Megabytes of data even if they need to do only a small job then check the other SLW widgets:

Multiple Stopwatches.
Functions:
You can add up to 26 stopwatches.
You can easily compare the time length by seeing time bar.
There are 2 kinds of stopwatches, one can be started or stopped independently, and the other is automatically stopped when another member starts.
Usage:
To start or stop, push the square button of A or B or so.
To shorten the time bar, push menu.
To add stopwatch, push menu.
Usage cases:
You can record 26 lap times.
You can aggregate the total time of each speaker's remarks at the conference.

Maybe you know this situation: Your phones lays on your desk, you're in the kitchen and you get called. You do not hear your ring and when you come back to your desk, you don't notice that you were called because your device has no notification LED (and you're not using NoLED)...

Therefore I made another small app, called "Vibration Notifier" which does the following:
When you have a missed call, unread SMS or any other event*, the app keeps vibrating every X minutes for Y times or until you turn on the display of your device.

If you think the app doesn't work on your device: That's very, very unlikly. Please click on the question mark icon in the app to see common issues and how they can be resolved. Don't give bad reviews just because you don't know how to use it...

* all apps which notify you about new events by showing a notification in the Android status bar are supported, like WhatsApp, GoogleTalk, Twitter, facebook,...

To be noticed about events from other apps, you need to add the app in the accessibility settings. I can understand that some people are scared by the "the app can read all your personal information" warning, but the app doesn't have the internet-permission - so even if it would collect your personal information (which it doesnt) it wouldnt be able to send them to anyone.


Permissions:
VIBRATE - obviously necessary to enable the "vibrate every X min" feature
READ_PHONE_STATE - needed to detect missed calls
RECEIVE_SMS & READ_SMS - needed to detect unread SMS
WAKE_LOCK - seems like this is needed on some device to avoid infinite vibrating
