Tecla is a set of open software and hardware tools that facilitate switch access to electronic devices for people with mobility impairments.

The Tecla App is an input method that enables external switch access to Android. This is a special kind of application that integrates tightly with the operating system enabling access to most of its functions.

Tecla supports wireless control of Android, via an on-screen keyboard, directly from a powered wheelchair or standard ability switches connected to a Tecla Shield:

Features include:
* Provides access to the whole device, not just to apps written for it.
* It scans in full-color on the built-in on-screen keyboard, so you don’t have to be looking at a separate screen.
* Affordable, end-to-end, standards compliant solution: Use your powered wheelchair or adapted switches to control your Android device!
* Google Voice Actions integrated: Control the device and enter text using your voice!
* Scanning: Step, auto or inverse scanning with fully configurable scan speed.
* Completely usable via a single switch (and up to 4 switches) with auto-scan or reverse-scan. That means, no switch gestures required (e.g., double click, press and hold, timed sequences).
* Any switch event from Tecla Shield wakes up and unlocks the device (no need for someone to swipe the lock for you before being able to use independently).
* Any switch event from Tecla Shield answers an incoming call.
* Full-screen switch mode: Use the entire screen as a single switch.

Never Forget uses GPS or WiFi, to detect your arrival and departure from different locations, and will alert you upon arrival (or departure) to ensure you didn't forget anything.

How it Works:
1. Create your own custom locations by providing an address for GPS, or availability of a specific WiFi hotspot

DISTO online for Android was developed under license of Leica Geosystems AG in Switzerland.

The program connects to Leica DISTO devices with Bluetooth interface (current models are Leica DISTO D3aBT, Leica DISTO D330i and Leica DISTO D8). From your Android device you can remotely trigger measurements and /or you can transfer the measurement data from the Leica DISTO into the Clipboardof your Android device to be inserted into any application.

Following Leica DISTO devices are supported:

Leica DISTO D8
Leica DISTO D3aBT
Leica DISTO D330i

Please note that this program only runs properly on Android devices with Bluetooth Serial Port Profile (SPP). The following Android devices are working with DISTO transfer:

This application is for people who are tired of looking down at their phone to see where their friends are and want to look up, live life and interact in the real world.  

You "tag" wireless Bluetooth and WiFi devices, then setup rules to automate actions on your smartphone.  These can be cool things within the phone like playing a favorite song as you walk by a coffee shop where your friends are hanging out.  Or, you can automatically drop a pin on a map where you park your Bluetooth enabled car.  Never again will you hunt for your lost car in a city street.

If you are a foursquare user, ToothTag can automatically check you in to your favorite coffee shop just from their WiFi signal.  If you have bad cellular service at home or work, setup your Google Voice to forward calls to another line, and save your minutes!  Look for Twitter integration in future releases.

Rules can be setup for both connect or disconnect events, often without the requirement for pairing your phone to another device.  That means if you want to see when someone gets too far away from you, like your child, you can setup your phone to vibrate upon a disconnect.  Conversely, if you want to see when your ex-significant other gets too close for comfort, you can sound an alarm on just "seeing" their phone!

This runs upon the NeuAer ProxPlatform and is a showcase application to inspire other developers to create software that runs on the service.  An open API and plug-ins to ToothTag are forthcoming.  We are launching exclusively on the Android phone, but will bring other device support in the future.
