A SCREENSHOT APP THAT DOESN'T REQUIRE ROOT

No Root Screenshot It is an application that lets you take screenshots of your phone. This application works on ALL phones. Root is NOT required.

Take screenshots of any screen on your phone!

This application is for those users who need to take screenshots, but don't have root access to their phones.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING:

This application will instruct you to download and install a free desktop application on your Windows or Mac. Once installed, you must run the desktop application with your phone attached to your computer. This will enable screenshots on your phone.

Once you've done this, you can disconnect your phone and take screenshots whenever you want. However, every time you restart your phone, you'll have to connect it to your computer and run the desktop application again. If you restart your phone frequently, this app may not be for you, as it may prove to be too inconvenient.

Your phone will NOT be rooted or temp-rooted in any way. No system files on your phone will be altered.

If your phone is already rooted, please download the normal "Screenshot It" application from the Android market.

Unless your phone is just incompatible, this will be the app for you...end. I've had this app for a very long time. This is, hands down, one of the very best photo capture apparatus's out there; it is excellent.

Sooooo worth it! It works! I was apprehensive about it at first because I thought that the steps to set it up would definitely root my phone. It didn't and yes it took me a little while to figure out the proper drivers. But it was all worth it.

Not worth all the installation hassle Even at $4.99, this app is not worth the aggravation to install it. It is necessary to to connect it to a PC, download special USB driver and other program and even after all that, there is still no guarantee that the installation will work. Only after having downloaded this app and paid the $4.99 was I told by Google that if dissatisfied with it I can only get a full refund if I ask for it during the 15 minutes following the download to my smartphone. This is ridiculous and quite irregular. I think the average user will never get this app installed in 15 minutes much less get to try it out.

Great app. Make sure to follow the instructions step by step and you should be fine. FYI, Norton Antivirus doesn't like the software that you have to install on your computer. I had to temporarily disable it to get install to work.

Motorola Xoom Very helpful. After each restart you need to link to laptop or desktop, but that's because of Android, not this app. This app makes it easy and convenient to take screenshots.

Turns out that this "workaround" was completely unneeded, as all you must do is hold down volume and hit power key and take an auto screenshot. "Sharing" Great, great job! Works flawlessly. With my phone (Samsung rugby pro) I just use the "home" & "power" buttons together and voila instant results. My only complaint is that for the money spent (well spent IMHO) is it needs to have ability to share - sms, email, you get the picture. I would recommend this in a heartbeat!
