TalkBack, Kickback, and SoundBack are apps for the Android Accessibility Service to help blind and vision-impaired users use their devices more easily.

These apps add spoken, audible, and vibration functionality services to your device.  They are system applications that were pre-installed on most device and are updated when the accessibility service is improved.

These apps only get activated if you explicitly turn on Accessibility.

Steps to activate Accessibility:
1.  Go to Settings
2.  Select Accessibility
3.  Enable Accessibility checkbox
4.  Enable TalkBack, KickBack, SoundBack checkboxes

I dont usually comment..but... I have just read the comments and i am laughing my head off! From what I gather its 11kb! And people are complaining!?! Its a benefit to those less fortunate than a lot of us, yet by the sounds of it Google just shot your parents! And, seriously, people are going to Apple JUST because they have a tiny tiny inconvenience (even though I dont see a problem that deserves anymore attention than what im having for breakfast). Well that, IMO, is pathetic! God help you if you do, you think android is restricted?!

Kick.back - great that google develops this apps If you want to get rid of installed apps ...root your device and become smarter in the progress...or the easy way: be a follower, also known as apple-sheep. Good luck with your Ipad...you might need it.

It's fine Please stop complaining; this app and others like SoundBack are for the purposes of helping the impaired. It's only 11 kilobytes as well, and most of our phones have gigabytes of data storage. Chill out! ;)

Uninstall option would be nice. For those telling us to stop complaining becauset there is ample storage on our devices, you are wrong. My LG Optimus S only has about 90 mb for app storage, which only gets me about 10 user apps that I get to download. These should not be locked into the phone with the proprietary software.

Be thankful you have the option of being annoyed I need it and am glad it is available. I never would have known where to look for an app that would work as well, so glad it was preloaded. Be thankful you can be annoyed by this app, instead of dependent!

To uninstall I do believe if you disable accessibility settings you can uninstall. Its a great app and I don't get any problems with it. Titanium Backup will remove system apps from market.

Easy Fix All you have to do is root your phone then you have total control. I have an LG Optimus V from Virgin Mobile and it came with a bunch of pre-installed bs. Guess what its all gone now. ROOT THE PHONE OR STFU!

So much fuss over 11kb...yes... ★KB★ Perhaps some of those 'dont want, dont need' one-star posters are blind... I have both an 'update' and an 'uninstall' key at top of page - and yet there are complaints even today... I'm lucky to have both sight and hearing but both are less than shiny these days and some of the options {vibration as one example} are helpful.
