SpeechTimer will tell you how much time you have got left on your speech or presentation. Enter the length of your speech and SpeechTimer shows the time left with digits, color and size.

When 50% of the time is left the numbers will turn yellow and at 10% they will turn red. At 50% the numbers will start to grow. When time is up the device will vibrate 3 times.

Note: The application keeps the screen turned on when the speech is started so you can see how much time you have got left, but it also drains the battery.

Theft Protection enables you to remotely control and locate your device via SMS messages. If you have lost it somewhere you can get a location or sound an alarm for people to notice it. If it has been stolen you will be notified when SIM is changed.

App protection checks all newly installed applications for malware. You can scan any old installed applications from the menu.

On-access protection scans any downloaded files and optionally the whole SD Card when plugged in.

Phone filtering provides blocking of unwanted SMS/MMS and also protects you from malicious apps that call paid numbers. As a bonus it provides a parental lock for outgoing calls.

Smart Battery Monitor - Android Theme

The app uses the Android logo to visualize the battery level. The status bar shows a small version of the robot overlayed with the battery level in percent. The robot changes it's color with the battery level from green to red (green, yellow, orange, red).

IMPORTANT: This is a theme for the Smart Battery Monitor (SBM) and the SBM Widget. You must have the free Smart Battery Monitor app or the SBM Widget to use this theme. After installation, it can be selected in the settings menu or you can choose the theme if you add the SBM Widget to your desktop.

xShortcut, short for eXtreme Shortcut, is a handy android app that allows users to quickly create different types of homescreen shortcuts. -- for Android 2.1 and higher.

Key Features:
1. Activity Shortcut Capture Mode: This feature allows you to directly select the active (running) activity as a homescreen shortcut (See NOTE 1). Here, an activity simply refers to a specific window/page within an app, e.g. any settings page within the System Settings (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Locale, TTS, ...), the preferences/settings page within xShortcut app, etc.

Basic Usage:
(a) Start Activity Capture Mode either by tapping the first item in the main function list or by enabling the setting "Permanent Capture"
(b) Move on to the target activity or window (e.g. the Locale settings page within the System Settings).
(c) Pull down the status bar and click [Grab Activity] for an attempt to capture the selected window as a shortcut.
(d) Edit, Test and Create the target shortcut.

2. Advanced Shortcut Editor: MAINLY intended for advanced users who might be familiar with the android Intent (i.e. component/action intent) and would like to create their own shortcuts.  

3. Shortcut icon is allowed to be changed (before the shortcut is created).

4. More Supported Types: Application Shortcut, Direct Call Shortcut, Direct Message Shortcut, Direct Contact Shortcut, Direct Email Shortcut, Bookmark Shortcut.

NOTE 1: Not all of the activities were originally designed to be launched by other applications/launchers. An activity shortcut only makes sense if the target activity is exported and not guarded by permissions. In xShortcut, a Test procedure will be automatically performed when creating shortcut.

NOTE 2: A *DEFAULT* icon size based on the device screen density is used to create homescreen shortcuts. You can try different sizes when the DEFAULT one is not applicable to your device (in Settings Window).
