Battery Spy allows you to monitor your Android device's battery level by reporting the current percentage, and providing more detailed information such as charge rate, temperature, voltage and usage times. The current battery percentage level is displayed on the notification bar. Additional statistics are shown in the notification bar pull down, and even more insight into your battery charge and usage history in the main application screen.


Battery Spy works simply by gathering battery statistics that are already available in the Android OS. What you see is what the OS reports. Battery Spy gathers up the information, organizes it, then displays it in a graph and tables for you. It also uses the information to give you an estimate of time left on battery or to full charge. Statistics are gathered and saved over a settable number of  days so you can review them at any time.

Key features include:

1. Support for multiple battery profiles so you can differentiate between OEM or backup (after market) batteries, and different usage styles such as work, weekends and vacation. Create as many profiles as you want and quickly switch between them. This feature is available during the trial period, then only with the full license after.

2. Enable notifications for when the battery level rises above or falls below a settable percentage.  This feature is available during the trial period, then only with the full license after.

3. Enable notifications for when the battery temperature rises above or falls below a settable degree.  This feature is available during the trial period, then only with the full license after.

4. Quick access to settings that directly affect battery use so you don't have to hunt them down when you need them

5. Tap on the statistics table to go directly to the Android Battery Use screen.

6. Configurable graph that supports both 2D and 3D presentations.

7. Low CPU and resource consumption to not add (too much) to battery drain.

8. Run as a service when phone starts up, or manually.

Permissions Requested by Battery Spy and why

* Battery Statistics - Battery Spy does not alter your system's battery statistics in anyway, it just reports what it sees.

* Control of Vibrator - Used as feedback when interacting with the UI

* Start at Reboot - By default Battery Spy will start when your device starts. You can turn this option off in preferences.

* Full Internet Access - Battery Spy uses the Application Crash Report for Android (ACRA) library published by Google Code. When a crash occurs, you will be presented with the option to send a bug report to us. Only when you submit the bug report is internet access used. Otherwise, Battery Spy does not access the internet during its normal operation.

JUMBLE FileManager has all the necessary functions as a file manager. JUMBLE FileManager has following distinctive features which is not implemented in other Android file managers little, too.


*Range selection

If you select multi files to do something, to select many files is very hard.
JUMBLE FileManager has range select function, so you can do your work speedy.


*Trash box

On smartphone, many incorrect operation occur than PC operation cause of small screen and touch operation.
JUMBLE FileManager has trash function, so if you delete files by mistake, you can restore the files.
( For files which cannot be managed with trash function (like network files), JUMBLE FileManager show you more confirmation message. )


*Dual screen

Dual screen is prepared in many other Android file manager, but JUMBLE FileManager switch the mode smoothly.
You can change dual screen mode at any time, and you can back to sinble screen mode by just one tap when your work finished.


*Grid/List view, File image size

You can change grid/list view, file image size by each folder.
So you can set according to the properties of the folder, like 'Grid view and Image size Big' for images folder, 'List view and Image size small' for texts folder.


*Rotation of image

You can rotate a image whose vertical and horizontal is wrong.
Rotate information is saved by a file, so next time adjusted image thumbnail is shown.
This information is related with inner image viewer, so if you change this setting once, you can watch adjusted image in the viewer.
( Loss of quality of image file not occurred because of no change for original file. )


*Share with reducing size image

If you mail pictures, often original file is too big to send.
You can start application reducing image size, save adjusted files, select files, and send by mail application, but these operations is too hard.
By using JUMBLE FileManager, you can easily select multiple files and share with reduced size files.
Because of rotate information being used, image rotation will be adjusted automatically.


*Zip / Unzip with no garbage characters

If you zipped files on Windows including double-byte character and unzipped on Android terminal, in most cases garbage characters will be occurred.
This is due to difference of encode of Windows and Android.
It is possible to specify the encoding when zip or unzip in JUMBLE FileManager, so you can zip or unzip with no garbage characters.


*Adding new file types

If you have a new file not edited, any application file can create by JUMBLE FileManager.
This operation is just only copy that new file and rename to new file, but this allow you to create any type files ( like Excel Word) in JUMBLE FileManager.
( Of Course to edit the file you have to install application that can edit it separately. )

Maybe you know this situation: Your phones lays on your desk, you're in the kitchen and you get called. You do not hear your ring and when you come back to your desk, you don't notice that you were called because your device has no notification LED (and you're not using NoLED)...

Therefore I made another small app, called "Vibration Notifier" which does the following:
When you have a missed call, unread SMS or any other event*, the app keeps vibrating every X minutes for Y times or until you turn on the display of your device.

If you think the app doesn't work on your device: That's very, very unlikly. Please click on the question mark icon in the app to see common issues and how they can be resolved. Don't give bad reviews just because you don't know how to use it...

* all apps which notify you about new events by showing a notification in the Android status bar are supported, like WhatsApp, GoogleTalk, Twitter, facebook,...

To be noticed about events from other apps, you need to add the app in the accessibility settings. I can understand that some people are scared by the "the app can read all your personal information" warning, but the app doesn't have the internet-permission - so even if it would collect your personal information (which it doesnt) it wouldnt be able to send them to anyone.


Permissions:
VIBRATE - obviously necessary to enable the "vibrate every X min" feature
READ_PHONE_STATE - needed to detect missed calls
RECEIVE_SMS & READ_SMS - needed to detect unread SMS
WAKE_LOCK - seems like this is needed on some device to avoid infinite vibrating

The application draws daylight on World Map. Also it shows the approximate world clock. For now, the events shown are sunrise and sunset. This is the first version of application. The future version are planned to show more natural events.
