[2013-01-04] A Google User: First I thought it's a good app and I bought Pro.. ...but then when I tried to restore some backed up apps on a changed ROM it fails. I also miss some documentation especially for what the two buttons "Sync w/ Dropbox" within backup-dialogs and "Refresh" within restore-dialoges exactly are made for or what they are doing. Some emails to the developer asking the questions above are long time not answered yet. App's description say: "If you are having any issues, please let me know before giving BackDrop a low rating. I am actively working on updates." The last update was almost 1 year ago and the Dev. don't reply on emails. What a shame! Downgrade to 2 stars from initially 5 stars. Does anybody else know what the two buttons "Sync w/ dropbox" and "Refresh" are doing? |

[2012-12-28] A Google User: ! It restores misc fine all you need to do is reboot device to take effect. Don't need to for apps though not sure why. |

[2012-07-08] A Google User: ok app... The only parts that work for me are the app restore and the WiFi setting restore. Things that did not work are data restore, text message restore, and Bluetooth restore. Hopefully a future update will get these functions working. |

[2012-05-23] A Google User: Pro not working on tf101 Ive got the pro version of this running on a Asus Transformer tf101. Ive tried it on numerous custom roms, but it just doesnt work. The auto restore zip thing wont ever flash, so backdrop has to be manually reinstalled. Then whenever i restore an app &/or its data the app no longer works. It just crashes, and has to be uninstalled and then re-installed. Sadly its completely useless to me. Real shame. |

[2012-02-17] A Google User: Good potential... But need improvements. Restoring data for app or misc not working on ICS! Just say "Restoring..." and nothing happened, service freezes... Please fix... And why key is always in background cached processes 3mb?! |
