The Rider App is the official mobile app of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Features include a complete league schedule, past game results, season statistics, team roster and player information, news articles, video interviews of players and coaches, game day forecasts and more directly on your Android device.

Notes:
Streaming Radio and Video are data intensive. An unlimited data plan is highly recommended.

Spam ware Piece of crap forced software comes pre installed on my bell phone. Uses data and battery even though I have no interest in it and cannot remove it. The single worst thing about carriers is crap like this.

No radio!! I upgraded the app & had no CKRM radio all of a sudden. I uninstalled & reinstalled & still nothing! I use this app everyday during the work week & it worked fine Thurs before the upgrade! WTH???? Update - turned phone off then back on & now works fine. Not sure what happened but I now love the app again. Thank you Sasktel for the offer of tech support - most places don't care & the fact that you noticed and offered to help is greatly appreciated. :-)

Little slow, but not unbearable Mainly use to listen to the games on CKRM while I am in Alberta for work, which works pretty much flawlessly. The score updates tend to be a little slow to refresh, which doesn't matter much if you're listening anyway.

Love the app but hate the notifications The app is great for schedule and roster and stats. I love it. But I always watch the game not in live time like recorded so I can skip commercials. So it's very annoying because I do not want to see the score while I'm watching. There is no way to choose in the app what notifications I get. And there is no way to turn them off on my phone I've tried. I have to uninstall the app every game now. Please just make some settings. It couldn't be that hard. I have a Samsung galaxy s2x with ice cream sandwich.

Score updates Isn't it possible to get the score updated sooner than the end of the quarter. Almost certain there would be a fan who is watching the game that could enter the score quicker. Please fix, or i may as well un-install.

Why is this on my phone? Pre-loaded apps are one thing, but ones I can't uninstall? I'm a TiCat fan who lives in S. Ont, why would I want this? I DON'T!

Notifications I have no need or interest in score notifications that come up 10 minutes after the score while I am watching the game... i cannot seem to disable them so I am removing the battery drain and game time distraction. Uninstalled.

Good, with opportunities to improve Would help if the roster for the visiting team was easier to access. I use the app for my roster while at the game, but to get to the visitor's roster, it is several clicks away. Response time often forever, but based on one game this year, better than last year. Overall a great concept, really like the ability to drill down from the roster to a player's bio.

Looks good but... ...not much use if it keeps crashing every 30 seconds. Not sure what the issue is. It looks nice, works well, has good content, but just keeps crashing. Not a good situation. Will likely be uninstalling since I don't anticipate any fix forthcoming. To bad. Phone: Google Nexus 4 ps: Just realized it's a SaskTel app. No wonder. Will for sure be uninstalling.
