Simple and easy to use I tried it while watching a game on tv that was showing pitch speed, after a few tries, started getting within about a 5 mph variance. I think this would be the most usefull for little league and young teens since the slower the speed the less variance the user will cause by being too slow or too fast.

At least its free It's ok for fun but don't expect to use it to clock yourself. If you are at a game and want to estimate the speed it might work. But it isn't reliable, because its on a timer where 0.1 seconds can change the speed by 5mph. 0.2 can change it by 10. But at least its free the iPhone version is like $2.00 I feel sorry for the ones that bought that one

A nice idea... It's a good concept, but the readings are inaccurate due to the pitcher's point of release being closer than the pre-measured distance.

People are stupid If you aren't a complete idiot then this app works well for an estimate. You press the button when a pitch is thrown and release it when the ball hits the target. If you set the distance correctly it gives a pretty accurate reading

Don't expect more than a stopwatch. That's all this really is. It does facilitate range calculations and gives the AVERAGE speed. Not radar at all.
