Help Survivors of Japan Quake & Tsunami
An 9.0 magnitude earthquake hit Japan in 11 March, 2011 2:45pm approximately 250 miles northeast of Tokyo, sparking a tsunami that caused major destruction in northern Japan.
According to news reports, the death and injury tolls could exceed 10,000. The area remains on alert due to powerful aftershocks, which may last for days.
