A good try Where to start... The app cannot generate the major scale. The scales don't follow the circle of fifths. Can generate scales that potentially don't exist. For example there is no such scale as A# pentatonic. The app doesn't represent the blues scale properly. There are no exotic African, middle eastern, or Asian scales. The app doesn't even have all of the natural modes- dorian, phrygian, lydian to name a few. How about diminished scales? All that being said the app has potential.

Amazing Exactly what I wanted! And it was free! Better than a lot of the ones I tried that I had to pay for. it's to the point and the realistic neck doesn't confuse or anoy you. Dig it

Fantastic! It's always nice to read over your modes when on the run. Easy to read, shows the root note, couldn't be better. I teach guitar and recommend this app to my students when we start with the major scale.
