Went back to OEM app Can't believe I paid for this, I used it for about 3 weeks and ended up going back to the stock email app. The layout is difficult to get used to and I could not figure out how to sync sub folders for a different length of time than the inbox. My OEM email app allows me to do this.

Nearly awesome! This is the only app that I have found to work with our Exchange 2003 server. I was a little irritated because this app would not sync messages that were in my inbox prior to initialization. However, I moved all of the emails from my inbox to a temporary folder after my initial sync and then moved them back into the inbox and sync'd TD again and they were there. Five stars when there is a more modern UI, maybe even skinnable. Need better calendar display options, and more robust calendar widgets.

Great app for those in need, but not updated since 2012... For 20 some dollars, this app needs to be kept up to date and given new features one in a while. Perhaps some additional features for those that actually paid for the key? I would like to see an interface facelift or more friendly usability? I use it everyday for work and I would change my review to five stars if the developers would improve the calendar accessibility and search function.

Conversation View No update to UI for long time, months, not friendly. Cannot File msgs into subfolders - nothing happens, boxes stay checked. Looking for a better Conversation View interface, otherwise the app is great - BB device conversation view or SIII built-in app as examples. Thanks

Good! Thanks for fixing my issue below- I can no longer use Touchdown anymore. It started yeaterday, it suddenly stopped and said No Activesync support! I did try reconfiguring/reinstalling the app, it will work firat time I run the app, but when I make changes to the setting, it always got stuck on Initializing activesync! please please help! I'll change my rating once this is sorted! thanks!

Frustrating I've been struggling to use this app for work for over two years. I thought my problems were due to my employers settings. I have missed, or written but been unable to send so many messages you'd think I would have found a better solution. I was tearing my hair out. Some one put a lot of time into this, but I find it cumbersome and hard to navigate. Thank god I am uninstalling this app.

Horrible Layout. Horrible Features. Horrible Integration. This application is not worth the money. The built in application for Android is better and its free. The only reason I am using this application is because my work requires it as part of our security package. Here are just a few list of problems: -- Calendar is not integrated into stock calendar application. (Not sure if I should blame Google or Nitro but it is probably a combination of both). -- Signiture editing for HTML has no ability to edit font type, style, and size. What exactly is the point of HTML then? -- The interface is clunky and antique design. For $20 I would expect an updated interface from when they first released this application for Android. 8-bit design in a 32-bit world. -- Price, $20... Really this has to be one of the most expensive applications in the Play Store. Unless work is paying for the application, it isn't worth it. I could go on but then I would lose credibility and just look like a whiner. If you have any option, avoid this application until they make it worth $20!

Solid product; needs some attention Have used product for several months and am mostly happy with it The feature that drew me to Touchdown work great and are reliable (exchange integration, peak/off peak alerts and silent time) However, as others have commented, the 'new' interface is horrid and you constantly (every time you use it) need to change the setting back to 'classic' Would do wonders if the developer listened to their customers and made this an option you could toggle

Disappointed No doubt that alot of great work has gone into developing this app, but in my experience the UI is not well structured to view emails on a phone, even on my Note 2. An open email should be full screen, not an uncomfortable, semi-readable pane. Would rather use Classic UI but it's a hassle. Also, I have not been able to access any email attachments despite what seems like memorizing the multiple, settings, options and advanced menus looking for a fix. This app needs improvement, I regret spending the money.

Purchase after using Demo Our company has switched to Touchdown, and after a month of use I do like the application. My biggest grip and I have not found a fix yet. is that my Smart actions application on My Motorola Razor Maxx does not work with Touchdown. I use smart actions to set my phone automatically for meetings, this includes sound, responses, etc. This works fine with the stock calendar. 5 stars if this issue corrected or if I am not setting up correctly please let me know..

Great, it really is great! This works perfectly but some of the widgets don't work on my Asus Transformer or my Sony Xperia Z. Also, the whole thing looks terrible. Why does it have to look so dated?

Good corporate email client I would like to be able to set Classic View as default. The main functionality I would like is to be able to customize when a new email notification appears. As it is now, I can complete customize noise and color of flashing light but the email icon is always displayed in the notification toolbar for ALL emails received. I really want to be able to create a rule so that only emails with me in the "TO field" show a new email notification on the top left of my phone. That would make this app amazing!

30 day trial... one request! ★★★★☆ For those that complain about paying, I simply lol! There is a 30 trial! Smh... It's great because it has almost complete exchange integration, great "push" service, full sync, custom vibration notifications, out of office, peak time and plenty of options to keep me happy! Now that I have the 5" screen, I notice that by default it starts into a preview pane mode and I have to chose "classic mode" since that's my preference. Can you PLEASE add an option to always start in "classic mode", for 5 stars?

Has some flaws, but it's always improving It's still easy to get lost in it's myriad of screens, mysteriously iconed buttons and pages and pages of settings, yet it's still a great product and constantly improving. Here's why: They are always updating the app to take advantage of newer operating systems features and improve the UI. Some of these new features are immense time savers, such as being able to mark messages read from the notification bar. Also, depending on your Exchange Server security settings, if you enter your password incorrectly, your pictures and entire phone won't be deleted. Only the data stored in Touchdown. I actually had this have to me years ago. It's expensive, but if you need access to your Exchange email, I highly recommend it over the built-in client.

Not up to par compared to BES The email platform works for utility purposes, and creating sub folders that sync works effectively. My biggest complaint, and why I purchased and installed over native email app was for out of office replies, and that feature is missing on my GSIII. Add OOO feature, as this is critical for business and I'll will update my review.

Great App But Two Small Issues Updating my review. App is fantastic. Giving four stars for 2 reasons: 1) PIN screen should be set to the Theme settings. Currently bright white in a all themes. 2) Email Alerts: Use System Default Settings will vibrate if the phone is in Silent, Vibrate or Sounds are selected. Other than these two, 4 stars as this is actually a fantastic app.

Unusable e-mail landscape composition window If you have a virtual keyboard like most everyone does, Touchdown can be EXTREMELY annoying because they insist on putting a huge "SEND" button across the bottom of the typing window and huge "To", "CC", and "Message" buttons across the top such that you CANNOT SEE WHAT YOUR TYPING in the window when in landscape view. I have shown them the issue and asked numerous times for them to fix it, but keep having to use the Android stock e-mail app because of it.

This is a great program This is a great program. I don't think I have ever reviewed an app before but this one is so good that I feel compelled to say so. This makes email on the go very, very good and is in a league with Outlook 2010 for raw power and great design. Since Outlook is also fantastic, I think that's says a lot about the quality of this program.

Best real time exchange sync for android Best feature is absolute real time sync on android. Tried other apps - this beats all. Fully functional app.. There are multiple areas that needs improvement though .. - the UI is very basic for the price.. Very soon other good looking and functional calendars on iOS will come to android.. - export to other calendar apps or at least import from other calendars with a good looking calendar - email scroll still is an issue.. In other words, this app wouldn't sell without its sync functionality..

Missing Functionallity LIKE the app, but it has a way to go before I love it. On my Galaxy Nexus, If I'm in the app and recieve a phone call at the same time, the app locks and I cannot access my call. It would be nice if it would drop into the background letting me get to my call. That is a huge pain in the keyster. A MUCH needed feature in contacts would be an ever-present search capability in contacts. It's really quite clunky the way it is currently set up. I sync using Microsoft 360 and that works very well

Not So Great I've been using this app for the last couple months. Every couple of days I would realize I wasn't actually sending emails. It would act like it sent, but if I viewed my sent emails in my email, they weren't there. Very fustrating when you send emails for 5 days and realize none of them were sent, then try to figure out what you need to resend. It forced me to stop using this App to send emails because I would have to resend them on the computer anyways!

Does the job, nearly Does the job for synching with my outlook exch. for email and contacts but interface needs work. Agenda OK. Calendar is very poor compared to others on market. Check monthly view. I eventually went with other calendar app

Great for keeping connected to all things, but could improve some functionality. This is great for keeping me connected to all things that I care about such as my Exchange email contacts task as well as notes. However it would be great to see such things as minute intervals of your choosimg for reminders, like 15 minutes versus every minute of the hour. However, some people may want it by minute...let us choose. I would also like the ability to easily set up appointments and search availability of other global users/conference rooms/resources. Overall, a greaapp I cannot live without

Nice features, but finicky I love the features that are added over the stock Android app. I was excited to see that outlook notes were even added, but that seems to have recently vanished. What I don't like is that this app keeps loosing it's activesync connection. I spend more time in the apps settings trying to make it work the way I want than actually reading mail. I'm an IT Administrator with 15 years exchange experience so I'm not completely clueless.

Great email app, best of the lot This is easily the best email app available on Android, especially if you need to use Exchange, like I do. Easy to configure, intuitive and simple to use, and the features are powerful. I also love the fact that email, contacts, calendar and tasks are all integrated in one app, rather than making you switch to different apps like some others do. I've been using this for the past 2 years, and it has improved steadily over that time. Pretty close to perfect right now -- I really can't think of too many things I'd change with it.

Good: PRO: Best app for replicating Outlook functionality. CONS: Some subscribed folders do not show, like "Outbox". Also, cannot show calendar items in android calendar widget like built-in Exchange mail app can.
