[2013-05-30] A Google User: Waiting for the update Leslie, you need to adjust your daytime slot. I have tried a lot weather widgets and weather apps. Most use too much resources, some displayed wrong, such as sunny when the entire sky was overcast, some even both. My opinion: + uses little system resources + weather and temperature display is fairly accurate + highly flexible with skin and background options, but icons in some skins not that great - it takes a moment or two to get a hang onto it - location setup a bit cumbersome - weather plus calender widget is a great idea, but needs refinement Because of the last point I am giving it a 4. [2012-08-27] A Google User: The Most Customizable! I've looked for a highly customizable weather widget and I can't find any that match this. I've been using it for the last 2 years because They are just that good. * you can adjust refresh rate and force refresh * you can select the weather server (Wunderground, Google, etc) * you can change the background (including transparency) * you can change the icons (even make your own) * you can have it update based on location or setup multiple static widgets * you have many sizes and shapes to choose from Honestly, you can't find a better one. Buy the unlock to get all the features. |

[2012-05-24] A Google User: Big ugly cloud on the screen instead of sun outside Sunny today here. The stock widget shows sun. This widget shows big cloud. The more detailed view after clicking widget shows sun not cloud. Changing weather provider doesn't make the cloud go away! |
