Rainy days shows you weather radar doppler images from buienradar, meteox, vaderradar, eumetsat and nws using Google Maps. You can zoom in and pan all you like!

Coverage: Europe, Iceland, Scandinavia, USA incl Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Africa, Australia

Note: shows rain (radar reflectivity), not clouds!

If something is not working on your device, please send me an email, adding a comment doesn't give me enough information to fix any bugs!

Fantastic app I have had this app for over a year now with the advertisements on the bottom. I decided to get rid of the ads by paying for it. But the ads never disappeared. An e-mail to the developer resolved this very quickly. Thank you for the quick response.

What happened to this one great app? It takes forever for the radar portion to render now. It used to be much faster. Why do you upgrade to worse performance.

Slow Used to love this app but there must have been a "bad update" fairly recently. The rendering of the radar image takes forever. I gave up and started using NOAA which doesn't have that problem. Please fix. Have T-Mobile and a galaxy s 3 phone.

Recommended This is my go-to app when I need to see the radar. It's fast and reliable. I found that all in one solutions like Weather Bug and Weather Channel app were just unnecessarily large and redundant. Now I use this and HD Widgets together to get the most up to date weather info without weighing down my device with bloatware.

Fast and specialized! This isn't a full blown weather forecast app. It's just an excellent precipitation map application. Rainy Days is streamlined and doesn't have a ton of useless features to slow it down. It maps rainfall, and it does so very, very well. No other weather map on the market loads as fast and without freezing up.

I still prefer Raindar Even though Raindar is super old and outdated, it beats every single app on the Play Store. Please find out what source that app is using since it is really good and accurate. The radar on thus app just isn't as detailed and it doesn't load as quickly.

Getting slow Too many people wanting extra features... Used to be A no nonsense "pull up antimated weather" app that was quick. Now it's getting bogged down. Weatherbug with all the features is faster now. Go back to simple and fast!

Weather warnings I'd like to suggest weather warnings to be posted on the map. Either an option to load nationwide warnings or warnings within a certain distance. Otherwise, good and simple app.

Wow I like this app. It uses GPS to have you location change on the map. The only thing that needs improvement is the delay in the data. Its a 15 minute delay in radar info. Is its raining on me and the radar has the rain still a distance away.

Awesome app! Good satellite weather map i've used for years. Uses Google Earth functionality, which also makes it handy for getting an eagle-eye view of the landscape regardless of weather. Ads are very unintrusive. Get it!

Doesn't work on HTC Droid DNA A great program that worked on my old phone but not the Droid DNA. Map refreshes viewable image on each frame which is terribly annoying. Hope they fix it.

Fast Radar only (precip) no satellite (clouds) and quick rendering even on slow connections. Was using Intellicast mobile web site and Raindar for best radar but no more. Intellicast finally has an android app and along with the other big boys has a very nice show everything / pick and choose map. But Rainy Days does one thing (shows the rain now) and does it fast and better than the rest. Please don't add clouds or forecasts. We already have 1,000 other apps for that. Keep it simple and fast!

The fastest out there. I initially installed this app for a backup radar to Raindar. Let me tell you, this one never fails and is running nitro while the others are sporting a 4 banger pinto motor. My favorite over Raindar now......
