Wrong dates I don't know where the developer is getting the dates but they're wrong. I'd rather use a farmers almanac and get the correct date.

Works, but... It works, and it does not require any smelly permissions. The idea of shading the moon instead of displaying different images is very good, but poorly implemented. (It does not look good.) Also, the image of the moon is very low resolution, so on big displays it looks blurry and awful. Anyhow, the app is not very useful without a widget. More astronomical information is needed, such as the time the moon goes up, the time it goes down, the percent apparent brightness, etc.
