Widget not updating frequently enough Running this widget on multi devices and it doesn't seem to update with enough frequency. Will go several days with no refresh except manual refresh. Using 4.2.1, 4.2.2, and 4.3.1 android. This is one of my longest used apps from the market. Thanks Jim! If you could look into the widget update frequency that would be great.

Bugs! I've been using this app for years and loved it... Update phone to jelly bean and constantly freezes. Took me a while to find that it was this app causing the problem. Please resolve the issue because I won't know what is going on in the world until you fix it... I can't help being difficult... It's the way I was born.

Very good but has bugs Like others, I use this in preference to the official app. It does however have a couple of notification bugs, though: the icon is too small and the text is completely non-standard. These make the notifications stand out like a sore thumb! At least the notification theme has been fixed so they're now readable. You'll get the fifth star back when these bugs have been resolved.

Great alternative to the BBC app Love BBC news, and this is great for those who don't need the multimedia experience from the BBC app. I use it in lieu of the BBC app. And definitely not as junky (i.e. too much site window dressing) or biased like most American news apps or sites.

Nexus7 alerts hard to read The alerts are hard to read, grey background, white letters on Nexus 7. Not like that on Galaxy S3 or HTC Incredible. On S3 stories in the widget don't seem to update :-/ otherwise great app, I get much news from it (non-US centric) Sometimes stories a few years old will get into the mix, odd. Nice if that could be corrected too.

Stopped working since last month Absolutely loved this app, more than the native BBC app, but for some reason it has stopped updating itself and is stuck at news couple of weeks old. I get all my news here... Usually... For years it seems, across many phones, I've used this app alone for my news. It's always been great, love how it's all laid out. A few days ago, however, it stopped updating headlines. My news is 4 days old. I've not reinstalled yet as I was hoping it would fix itself, but I'm going to do that now and hopefully it does the trick. I just hope it doesn't keep happening.

Magazine section I'm a long time user but I've stopped because of the lack of magazine section that was present before. I mainly read the magazine articles but its hard to find them when they're mixed up with all the other sections. Having the comment section would also be a plus.

Was a great little app I loved this app, had endless amounts of news and was quick at updating. But one day it stopped updating and I was Disappointed to hear the bbc put a stop to this app in an attempt to get people to use their own but theirs is so clumsy, limited to a few types of stories and about 7 articles in each. Was 5 Star, no longer updates :( For quite awhile now this app hasn't been updating stories. This WAS my go-to app for news. The official BBC News app is a glossy joke. This app was the real deal. But sadly, no more. :( Fix the updating and it will be back to 5 stars!

Update issues This worked great till a few days ago, now it refuses to refresh with new stories - saw an ad on TV for it just recently, has a rush of new subscribers overwhelmed the server or something? Be great if you could sort the problem, as currently it's a news app with no news!

Great news app, couple suggestions Love the app and news articles! Only two suggestions to get to 5 stars: white text on grey background in notifications is too hard to read; also, zooming on articles makes text bigger, but does not zoom into photos. Everything else is great!

Could be better Image quality is appalling unless viewed in browser. Also the motorsports section is pretty useless unless you like motorbikes or F1. How about British touring car championship? Or any touring cars for that matter...
