GigBeat helps you never miss another concert by your favorite artist in your town!

GigBeat scans your device's music library, shows you when your favorite artists are on tour and where they will be. Don't have any music stored on your device? That's not a problem, GigBeat offers support for Songkick, Last.fm and Rdio accounts so users can login and sync their artists from these services!

GigBeat will also remind you when a concert you've starred is coming up, or notify you when it finds new tour dates in your area for artists you are tracking.

GigBeat is currently fully supported on Android phones running version 2.1 or higher and is compatible with Honeycomb tablets, but a more polished version for tablets is coming very soon.

Works great on my phone, but crashes every time on my Nexus 7! I installed this on my Nexus 7 tonight, excited to get to use it on a bigger screen, but it force closes every time I try to do anything. Very disappointing. Please fix it!

force closes when clicking on gig Unable to view any gig info as it crashes. This makes the app kind of pointless if you cant view the date and venue the artist is playing in. I have also noticed it consuming a huge amount of data compared to other apps, around 150mb per month! slightly excessive..

Great Idea but problems.. I love this app! I am a concert photographer and this is a great way to get all the shows I want to shoot in the same place instead of having to go around searching for when an artist will be in town. However, it 'stops working' alot and is very difficult with searching artists. I'm sure that it's just a glitch with the new interface, which is fantastic I might add. I have no doubt an update will be coming soon to fix all of these little bumps.

It contradicts itself when I get a notice saying that patti smith is playing in my area(NYC)I go 2 the attached page which then tells me "no shows in your area"! I don't need artist bios I need gig alerts! since I usually find out on my own so idk..if update doesn't fix, uninstall. if it does I'll edit&rerate. I wish it worked,I see bands on the reg. Alice Cooper in Newark 2moro! and no,I didn't find the show on this app. Epic4G

Too shame... It crashes all the time when I try to scroll my music library. Report that bug a hundred of times and still didn't get any updates that will fix it. Adter the final update it crashes everytime. It's a shame..it was a nice app.

Good but frequently... ... the highest power consuming app on my phone despite sync being on for wifi only. Need to be able to limit the sync schedule. Considering uninstalling to see if my battery life improves.

Lacks Google Music Sync Doesn't sync with Google Music. This is Google's fault though, since they have yet to open up Google Music API. Doesn't recognized artists not 'pinned'(stored locally) on device. Good devs that listen to feedback. Great app!

no worky, battery drainer I badly need an app like this. Sadly this one doesn't sync my artists from songkick (only the artists starting with letters A and B sync, all the others aren't there). On top of that it is consistently the biggest battery drainer on my phone (30%) even though I never use it since it doesn't work well... 2 stars and uninstalling, will check it again if they fix things.
