Xmp is a mod player that plays over 90 mainstream and obscure module formats, including Protracker MOD, Fasttracker II XM, Scream Tracker 3 S3M and Impulse Tracker IT files.

• Create new playlists from the menu and long press files and playlists for more options.
• Tap the player screen to change visualization modes
• Tap waveforms in channel viewer to mute channels
• Long press waveforms in channel view to solo channels

Sorry, AY music not coming soon because it's not internally organized as tracker music.

@UFOnaut: Tested polar.mod (116kb) on Protracker and it plays equally as bad. It seems to be a bad conversion from old Soundtracker. If you know a tracker that plays it correctly please inform me.

Known bugs:
• Channel viewer doesn't work with Adlib modules
• Reported problem with Janne Suni's Acidjazzed Evening, need assistance to identify the exact point
• Reported problems in Organic.it and SaveMe.it from Unreal Tournament 99 (will investigate and fix)

I've been looking for so long for an app such as this one... Don't know what to say about it other than this is absolutely AMAZING! Have yet to find another app that supports as many formats as this one, including but not limited to adlib and hsc formats. Works great on both my Samsung Droid Charge and my Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Excellent player It's an excellent player - the interface is quick and clean, and everything sounds accurate. The new visualizations remind me of classic players like Inertia. (I would like to back up Sage's request though, could you bring back the white text on black background in the song browser? It looks much better on OLEDs.)

AWESOME! I've always wanted a way to play scene files on my Android-powered phone (Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch). This player, while basic in functionality, performs its' playback functions perfectly. I've read some of the other reviews of this software regarding playback and file format issues. Maybe it's just that I have a more recent bug-fixed version, but I have yet to encounter a playback issue or file format problem. Not bad considering my MOD collection is approaching 1 Terabyte in size.

Excellent MOD player I have about 120 MOD's and a couple of XM format tunes. This player loads them all and plays them perfectly. Easy to build playlists and add/delete to/from them. Good sound options, nice clean interface. Very capable player for no money. Only thing I wish there was are lockscreen controls, but that's minor. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to listen to their old-school Amiga MOD files.

Folder File limit? Program seems to freeze if you try to scan a folder with more than a thousand files in it. DroidSound and MODo Player list them off fine and continue to play. Otherwise, playback is pretty impressive for XM Player.

Fantastic-While it lasted! Loved the app!....for the short time it worked....Great sound, good info display and graphics, BUT, I had issues. First of all, I had to manually type in the full path to my MOD files: lacks a BROWES button. Once got the path in, it played all the sample files I loaded just fine! Great. Then, the next day I tried to lauch XMP and it said it cannot find the directory I had my MOD music in. When I clicked on the Create button....CRASH! That's all she wrote. [Sorry: The application Xmp for Android (process org.helllabs, android.xmp) has stopped unexpectedly. Try Again]. Yes, the directory does exist and songs are there. Never recovered, even after rebooting my device. Bummer. Uninstalled. I have Modo installed and it works great, but super lousy sound! Poor sampling rate you can't change. Sammy Galaxy Player 5.0
