The Auscultation Primer app presents auscultation of various heart sounds as they relate to the anatomy, physiology, and diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. It's perfect for physicians, medical students, nurses, and other clinicians who wish to improve their auscultation skills.The app includes 10 cases of live patient recordings among which are some of the most common sounds and murmurs. Each video recording includes audio plus a phonocardiogram and ekg tracing for timing. Additionally, descriptive text is provided to assist in the learning experience.

Quick LabRef for Android (Quick Clinical Laboratory Values Reference) provides quick look at the up-to-date information on the most commonly used clinical laboratory values and other useful relevant information such as lab data in Microbiology, Physiology / Pathophysiology, Toxicology and etc. Normal values reference are provided in both <b>Conventional Units (CU)</b> and, whenever available, in units of the <b>“Sistème International” (SI)</b>.<br />

This application is <span style='color:maroon;'><em>FREE</em></span> and intended to be just a quick reference. Medically accurate method of calculating your BMI. Does so in a plethora of weight and height units, even units that require 2 set fields i.e. ft + inches. Lots of other BMI calculators do not give you such convenience. I also have installed a number pad to make it easier to input your entries (I find the standard one kinda annoying to use).

Méthode précise et medicale à calculer votre IMC (Index de Masse Corporelle). Il le fait avec une pléthore d'unitées de poids et de taille. Les autres IMC calculatrice ne vous donne pas ces types de convenience... J'ai aussi décidé d'installer un pavé numérique pour faciliter les choses...

WISER (Wireless Information System for Emergency Responders) is a mobile application designed to assist first responders in hazardous material incidents.

First responders in general, and HAZMAT units in particular, must make many decisions quickly in handling hazardous-materials incidents. They need accurate information about the hazardous substances, the emergency resources available, and the surrounding environmental conditions to save lives and minimize the impact on the environment and physical property. The WISER application extracts content from TOXNET's Hazardous Substances Data Bank (HSDB), an authoritative, peer-reviewed information resource maintained by the National Library of Medicine, and places that information into the hands of those who need it most.

* Rapid access to the most important information about a hazardous substance by an intelligent synopsis engine and display called “Key Info”

* Intuitive, simple, logical user interface developed by working with experienced first responders

* Comprehensive decision support, including guidance on immediate actions necessary to save lives and protect the environment
