Great app but not working after updating This apps a 5 star app unfortunately not working for me since I updated it yesterday, the video is just showing a black screen even though I can hear audio in the back. I will update to 5 stars when it's fixed again. I'm sure all the negative reviews on this app are fake. Try the free version before you buy to see how good this video player is.

Galaxy nexus black border No matter what you do to change the aspect ratio there is always a black border around the movie on my Verizon galaxy nexus. Been that way for two updates now which I think us more than enough to fix this. Sent two emails with no reply. I'm easily better off with the free dice player and Mx video for now. Will re rate if ever fixed, or if I ever get any support. There should really be able to set what decoder can be used for each codec supported too. Changing from hw to sw for my variety of videos is lame.

Crapware. Don't waste your money. I have two big issues with this app. The first: it'll intercept your .zips when you download them from Chrome. MX doesn't do this, no default is set to do this, it's this app acting rogue. Freezing it or uninstalling it is the only way to prevent this from happening. The second: this app doesn't play videos well at all. I have this on my Xoom and my Note and I get the same problem on both, audio is desynchronized with the video. And it's not just kinda off, it's several seconds off. In fact, the longer the video goes on, the worse it gets. And it starts desynchronizing within seconds of playing. It doesn't matter what the video format is (.avi, .mkv, .mp4, etc) or if it's local or web based, this app will not play videos. The dev has apparently spent time making the menu pretty while breaking the functionality of the video player. This is no longer a video player, as it doesn't really play videos, and it intercepts files that aren't even videos. I wish I never bought this app; wish I would've bought MX Player instead. Don't make the same mistake I did. Buy MX Player and be happy. I've sent in logs and reported these problems and, 3 updates later, we still have these problems.

Not worth 5 bucks Don't waste your money!! This app is not worth the 4.99 they want for it. Sure, it plays gp3 files and my phone's player won't play them, which is why I bought it. However, I am now regretting that purchase. About 50% of the time videos will lock up the player and I have to kill the app and restart it. There is often a lag between audio and video playback....Update 03-2013: still no fix to the audio/video lag. About half the time, video ends before playback is finished. Poor quality for $5. Not worth it.

DON'T BUY IT!!! Do not waste your money!!! After the last two updates the application became total crap. HW support stopped working, video is choppy, sound is almost missing, streaming is so buggy that it actually does buffering most of the time instead of playing.... So now it cannot play ANY of my MKV files, that used to play with no problem. To the developers: -> "remove DTS because of licensing issues" ??? And you call this a new version?!! Well then buy an official DTS license !!! You cannot only get our money and offer just a GUI interface to the open source FFMPEG... In business you have sometimes to INVEST in order to earn some money!!!... Besides there is an opensource alternative (though not good as the original) to DTS!!! -> moving the UPNP to a plugin as a separate application SUCKS!!! I am very eager VLC to release a stable version... then your app will become totally useless... And I WАNT REFUND !!! I paid for a working application with certain features that did the job of playing my videos... Now the application is not working and has less features than before... You cheated us!!! Supports dts Downloaded a movie that had dts 5.1 audio playback. No player including the stock video player and mx player could play the audio. They only played the video without audio. HD player played both but the video playback was not smooth. Only this player played the movie with both video and audio smoothly. Thank you for making my day.

Waste of money Don't bother paying for the vplayer unlocker. It's not good at playing videos and only okay at playing streaming videos off your network. You'll do better with mx player as it has better features, can be used for free, and they actually update their app. Don't buy this app unlocker for vplayer. It's simply not good and lags when you play videos. For streaming it takes a long time to buffer and the picture is crappy quality. Buy the mx player app or just get the free version. It's a lot better than vplayer.

Should have bought a iphone. The app sucks. It worked for2 videos then nothing. Really Android isn't that good in my opinion. Why adobe flash isn't compatible, the touch screen is way to sensitive W/out a calibration tool.
