My CookBook lets you create your own digital cookbook. This is the only recipe app that allows you to build your own recipe database. You build this database gathering recipes on the web and using the import features.

You are looking for a new recipe ? Use our searching engine to find a new recipe on the web. When you have found one you like, import it into My CookBook. Then you will be able to view it everywhere on your phone or your tablet. You can add your own photo, change ingredients or directions, or add you own comments
You already have a cookbook ? Add a new recipe into My CookBook manually, or import your digital cookbook using one of the file formats we support like Meal Master (.mmf), MasterCook (.mxp), LivingCookBook (.fdx) , ReKconv (.rk)...
You want to share a recipe with your friends ? Publish on Facebook you are cooking a recipe. Or share it with My CookBook to email, sms, and others. You can also send them a “My CookBook” file they will be able to load into their app
My CookBook also include these features :
* Synchronize your recipes on different devices using dropbox
* Create shopping lists using your recipe ingredients
* Scale the ingredients to serve more or less servings
* Use the speech feature to read recipes
* Customize various parts of the app such as theme, font size, categories.

[2012-09-05] Patrick: Not Bad At All The simple fact that I can import multiple cooking program files, gives it four stars from me. Pros: import all kinds of cooking files, easy to use search function, GUI is simple. Coins: When scaling a recipe it turns portions into decimal 1/4- .25. When adding multiple recipes to the shopping list, it won't combine quantiles and ingredients, I think that is because there isn't a stand-alone entry field for measurements and ingredients. |

[2012-08-31] kamakalia: The one for Mastercook users Edited & downrated from 5 to 3☆: the ADD SUPPORTED/PAID timer addon for an already purchased software is really bad form and a greedy move. As an early supporter of this app, I am extremely disapointed. ---- Does a great job importing from MasterCook, and has a hand-free recipe reading function as well as a built-in grocery list. One detail: when publishing on facebook, the ingredients section is simply missing and the text formatting is messed up (no paragraphs + " l' " tranformed into " l' "). |

[2012-08-17] JCW: Great tool finds,saves,edits recipes This app builds on the wealth of web recipes making your favorites available offline. The import feature is absolutely ingenius. I really appreciate being able to edit and annotate the recipes. Continuous improvement makes this a great value. An indispenable tool for the organized chef. |

[2012-08-07] Carla: Looks great, works great! A few quirks with downloading recipes, which may be user error, but I think its pretty awesome. The best app of its sort that I've found. Also, a responsive and eager to accommodate developer is always a plus. Keep up the great work and thanks! |
