3/25/2013 - Audio gap issue FIXED! This fix ONLY works with with Android 4.1+ or 2.2 & International devices with proper ROM's - see below.
Devices running Android 2.3+, 3.0+ and 4.0 ICS will experience audio gaps, unless the device is using 2.2, 4.1+ or International/Global ROMs i.e. Jelly Thunder - some devices outside the US will work fine. [2013-06-04] A Google User: Good Meditation Tracks but... Purchased v. 1.1 about a month ago for use on my Android 4.2 tab and have found several bugs. I can see why others have rated this app as an unpolished port of the iOS version. I should also say that several emails back and forth with the developer have resulted in nothing but excuses with no effort to address the issues. Poor customer support for a commercial app. With that said here are the problems I have found with 1.1: When you leave the Presets area, the preset that is playing stops so you can't use the timer. Kinda important to have a timer for a meditation app. (The workaround is to start the timer first and then navigate to the presets page but that is counterintuitive to me). A really simple solution would be to have the timer button that is on the main screen also exist on the Presets screen - and while you're at it, add the pause button too. Additionally, the end chime doesn't work. It just insta-kills whatever is playing. Also, there seems to be no fader effect with end chime or auto quit - it just abruptly insta-kills the app and/or whatever is playing. There is a settings icon at the bottom but it doesn't work... |

[2013-05-17] A Google User: OK This app is simulation of iPhone app. Execution was improved recently (compared to iPhone). Annoying click sound was eliminated. Still one of best apps for meditation and relaxing out there. 4 stars because it's not as polished as iPhone app but this is Android. All apps are less polished and lower quality compared to iPhone. Simply iOS is still "better" than Android (easier for apps). |

[2012-11-19] A Google User: Not as good I have this on my iPod, and the version for Apple is preferable, by far. Better ambient tracks, different entrainment tracks. Very disappointing how different they are. |
