VaRComputer computes the value at risk (VaR) of your stock portfolio (currently US stock only).

VaR is a risk metric that tells you what is the maximum amount of value your portfolio will lose in some percentage of historical cases over a certain period of time. VaRComputer gives you the maximum loss in 99 % of historical cases over the period of one, three or seven days. This means that you will probably lose more than VaR two to three times per year under normal market conditions. Please keep in mind the terms "probably" and "under normal market conditions", which indicate you should not trust VaR too much. Nevertheless, it gives you some indication what kind of losses you might expect from your well diversified stock portfolio.

This software is free of charge, and you should base your expectations on that. In other words, it comes without any guarantees or warranty and so on.

Primeiramente, configure os dados de consumo do seu veículo. Caso não saiba, consulte o manual do proprietário.
As variáveis utilizadas são o preço e o consumo de cada combustível. Os cálculos são refeitos cada vez que você modifica os dados.

Devido à variação significativa entre o consumo dos automóveis quando circulam pela cidade ou pela estrada, utiliza-se a proporção escolhida na parte superior da tela.

Dica prática: Ajuste dos valores dos combustíveis. Depois, mova a barra superior (Cidade x Estrada) de um lado ao outro e veja se a preferência muda. Caso não haja diferença, você não perde tempo prevendo se utilizará o carro na estrada.

Impacto Ambietal: O álcool é um combustível limpo e renovável, portanto contribui pouco para o aquecimento global, sendo sempre a melhor escolha independente do preço. Mas quanto você está disposto a pagar a mais pela proteção ambiental?

Se optar por "Não Ligo", significa que você não quer considerar o impacto ambiental na hora da escolha do combustível.
Escolhendo entre "Pouca", "Média" e "Grande Preocupação", você estará disposto a pagar, respectivamente, até 5%, 10% e 20% a mais no seu gasto com combustível.

Exemplo: Uma pessoa possui um carro que gasta em média 8km/L com álcool e 12km/L com gasolina. Se o preço do álcool está R$ 1,79 e o da gasolina R$ 2,39, ela gastará R$ 0,22 a cada quilômetro rodado com álcool e R$ 0,20 a cade quilômetro rodado com gasolina. Nestas condições, ela gastará 10% a mais utilizando álcool.

Se o software estiver configurado em "Não Ligo" ou Pouca Preocupação", indicará gasolina como melhor opção.
Se estiver configura como "Média" ou "Grande Preocupação", indicará álcool como melhor opção.
