You must have text-to-speech voice data installed If nothing happens, you might not have installed the text-to-speech voice data. On an HTC Desire go to Menu > Settings > Voice input & output > Text-to-speech settings > install voice data (Lookup 'Android TextToSpeech' on Play/Market for more voices/languages) Once you've got some voice data installed on your device, this is a great, simple interface for making your phone say stuff
