Ringo is a fun and powerful way to set unique ringtones and SMS tones for each of your contacts. Simply pick your friends inside Ringo and pick a ringtone or SMS tone - you'll know instantly who is texting or calling you!

For further features - including caller announcing and SMS announce, check out Ringo Pro which lets you use any music as an MP3 ringtone or SMS tone, SMS nag - even set different tones, lights and vibrates for each contact!

Please note that the HTC EVO 4G LTE currently has a problem with custom ringtones. If you have one of these and you don't hear the tone you expect for a call, you are experiencing this problem. HTC say they'll fix it in their next update.

I also love that you can customize the ring tone at the same time and it's viewable from the list view the changes you made. Not Perfect... It works for SMS Tone...the catch is, you have to set your default notification tone to silent in your phone's setting...that also leads to apps like the pre-installed "talk" app and some other apps that uses the default notification to be silent when I get an incoming message or any notifications from apps that uses the phone's default notification tone.

I don't need this app no more...thx it was fun but i ain't paying for something i can get free from another app plus do more. Very cool app!! Personalize text ringer for each contact! This is a simple, and cool app. Does as promised, I download my music from another app, and I cut and create ringtone from another app, but this app gives me the option to change every contacts ringtone different, even text, which my phone wouldnt let me do. I have a different ringtone for every contact, even for texts! The only bad thing is that its kind of a large app, but thats okay with me. I reccommend it to everyone!

Messed up my phone I had this on my phone but had to uninstall it because it was always running even when I force stopped it and it was taking alot of my battery. Since I uninstalled it my ringtones wont work. Everything is on high volume and I restarted my phone. Since wont work.

Small Issues Love the concept however there are some small performance issues, time will tweak it, my problem is that suddenly only a second or two of my personal SMS tunes will play making me miss many important messages!

Ok I like the fact I can set different tones for ringer and text. DISLIKES!!! It keeps changing itself back to the manufacturers default and I have to change it back almost every day. Zedge does not have the ringtones I'm looking for and half of my ringtones I had on my last phone, when I upgraded to this phone Ringo will not let me use.?? I don't know why?? Someone needs to fix both these issues and I would have no complaints.

Love it but...Galaxy Note II I love this app, it allows me to set personal ring tones for my contacts when they call, but it wont allow me to set personal tones for text messages, it only follows the systems default.

Works if you work it The reason why your ringtones revert back to default when turning your phone on & off is because peoples custom tones are located on sd card, not in the system ringtone folder. This app works great!
