Kingfishers are called jewels of the mountain stream. I heard that jade has, in fact, its origin in this bird. Their habit of settling on mountain cherries and plums, or on mossy stones in a beautiful manner reflects their high consciousness of territory. There are a shot of diving in a river for fishing, series of pictures dynamically capturing the moments of them approaching a branch as if they are hovering and also their interesting relationship among them fighting or getting along well with each other.
