Eurosonic Noorderslag is Europe's main conference and showcase festival for European music. Part of this event, taking place in Groningen, the Netherlands from 11 to 14 January 2012, are two festivals: Eurosonic and Noorderslag.

During Eurosonic (11, 12 and 13 January) the city of Groningen is dedicated to new European talent. The most promising acts in their homeland, but often unknown outside their borders. With over 200 acts Eurosonic is the largest European showcase festival.

On the last day, 14 January, Noorderslag presents the very best Dutch acts in every genre. Noorderslag has been the main barometer of Dutch pop music for 26 years. Every year this festival shows the latest and greatest Dutch artists in the Oosterpoort theatre, ranging from hard and overwhelming to charming and intimate.

The Festivals App gives you an up-to-date program by date or location, background information on artists and the possibility to create your own program. Want to know what else is playing?
