You want to learn to speak German? Then you are at the right place :-)
This App is a follow up to my popular German podcast (http://german-podcast.blogspot.com/).
It contains German lessons, a vocabulary trainer, and a German quiz. The screenshots should give you an idea of the functions.
The app contains one lesson and you can download more from within the app.

See also my Android App VociTeach which is an advanced version of the index card based learning module from this App. You can easily transfer your data to VociTeach by using the export/import function and a quick copy/paste in Open Office...

Please be fair. Give me feedback (see help in the app) and I will try to help you. I can not answer to your remarks in the Android market...

Permissions: SD Card and network. You can download lessons (MP3) and they will be stored on your SD card (SD card needed!).

Cant understand the fluent German!! Its a very nice pod cast for beginners. But if you could only speak as much German as you have taught, that would be great!! I am referring especially to the 8th chapter. I did not understand most of it!!

Good for beginners I heard of this app because of the original podcast and thought that it was a great way to start learning German. Now, I'm studying German in college and I found that after taking introductory German, I've learned more than this app could teach. This app is great If you're just starting to learn German but it's not nearly as good as taking German in a classroom setting. If you like this app, I would really recommend taking a class at a community college or something like that.

Oh yeah! My native language is romanian, but I also speak perfect english, italian and spanish. This app it is great. For starters. Anyway I live in Germany for 7 months, by now, and I realy needed something like this, because deutsch it is quite dramatic... Thanks for this great app.

Great app!! I've tried a few apps to learn German. This one in my opinion is the best. Several of the others speak with a French accent. Which makes the process much more difficult. Thank you for the work you put into this.

sound quality is too variable for headphones I like the first podcast. The content is great. However, the volume of the speaker, Stephan, goes up and down a lot, and much of the time even with my volume turned up all the way I can hardly hear what he is saying. Then suddenly he is back to the microphone, and the volume is way too high and I miss a few words trying to turn the volume back down. So, really, what the podcast itself seems to need is volume leveling. The app seems to have flashcards, quizzes, and verb drills all integrated, but without being able to hear the podcast they are hardly useful to the beginner.

Gute! Zehr gut. Good, I recommend it. No updates in the program though. I think It's the best. Would love to see more like lesson 4.

Great Application!! I think will learn a lot using this application, well, it feels like so far :). My native language is Spanish but as English is my second language competing with French and I've being recollecting many sources to self teach me German and I decide that since English is my second language a good approach to learn would be take English as the base language to get to German rather than using Spanish. Having many sources to learn this application comes very handy to keep me learning on the go whenever I can. So far so good, Lesson 01, already knew almost everything thus let's continue...

Not useful Doesn't show the gender of German nouns, no way to save a vocabulary or study list and the actual inventory of words is quite meager.
