[2011-08-11] t0rpedo: Mostly web-based. Great student resource! Looks solid, and the visual elements are beautiful. I'm just curious as to why the app is so large. 9.5MB for something that is so relient on cloud-based content is very large. Facebook's app isn't even that big. However, moving it to the SD card makes it not as taxing on system memory. Nice to see Dixie with some web presence! Still some bugs but what can you expect a week after launch. |

[2011-08-10] Cole: Good potential. Needs work Layout and interface are pretty good. Looks like it's got some good features. Nice mix of Useful (campus map, "checklist", admissions etc.) and useless but fun (twitter, pics, videos etc.) However it crashes My phone every time I run it. A couple bug fixes and keep working on useful features (maybe tie into Blackboard?) and we'll have a solid little app. Cole Hulse DROID X Gingerbread |
