Please use "Gmail Notifier" instead. New install due do original certificate lost in hard drive crash. This makes updating original app impossible :(

A great app if you need persistent notifications for gmail. LED trackball works correctly in Froyo tho unsupported. ver. 1.4

Use this! Also, a tip: clear Gmail Storage weekly when gmail app stops syncing. Settings>apps>filter>all>gmail storage>clear data
