ComicRack for Android is the companion for the best eComic Reader and Manager for PCs: ComicRack for Windows

Optimized for phones and tablets it allows you to read your eComics anywhere you want.

When used together with ComicRack for Windows it allows automatic synchronization of eComics with your Android device via USB or WiFi, including reading positions, reading lists and bookmarks. Your synchronized eComics will also be converted and optimized so they can be read fast an reliable on your handheld device. And best of all, this way you can read all the formats ComicRack for Windows supports (PDFs and even WebComics). Optionally the eComics can even be size optimized during synchronization which usually makes them half the size without noticeable quality reduction.

ComicRack includes a Live Wallpaper that shows random covers from your library. You can even start reading by double tapping the background.

The paid version removes all the ads and adds wireless synchronization. So you no longer need to connect your device to your PC to get your eComics from ComicRack for Windows. You can even invoke a synchronization directly from your device and your PC will send you all the new eComics from your lists.

Won't verify error. This is the only app I've ever purchased that does this yet the developer trys to put the blame on google play. Many other people have this problem too. Get off your @$$ and fix it.

OK, but don't buy for WiFi sync The WiFi sync simply doesn't work most of the time. Winamp wifi sync works fine so I know it isn't my setup. Has been an issue for over a year if you look in the forums. It still hasn't been fixed. Disappointing. Great app aside from that. You're better off using the free version though.

Simply the best Excellent comic reader. Nice design. Easy to use. Loads of features and lots of data about each comic can be held. It works with cifs mounted Windows shared folders too if you have jumped through the Android hoops to get cifs working on your phone or tablet.

Two issues Page fling has never worked all the way on my transformer prime, and pleeease please make it so i can adjust the size of the thumbnail image for my stacks! While reading 4 series, theres a lot of empty real estate on the stacks page, just a personal pet peeve, but id fist the air so hard if this were added.

Great for organized library For long time Windows ComicRack user like me this is obvious app to get. Good with my Samsung Galaxy Nexus, much sweeter with Nexus 7. Wifi sync is nice because I can sync both mobile devices with one click from Windows CR.

Network access always required As others have pointed out, the licensing scheme requires you to be connected to the internet. As I use ComicRack on a wifi-only Nexus 7, this essentially means I can't use it when I'm out and about. As I mainly use it for kids stories for my son on holiday trips, the licensed version of the app is completely useless to me, which is why, despite paying for the licensed version, I still use the free version as at least it works.

Perfect Reader I used the free version for so long that it was a simple switch to the paid version. Not dealing with the ads make it well worth the price, and I use it almost daily. I haven't found a better comic reader, especially anything produced by publishers. The only issue I have found is that using the Wallpaper function caused regularly crashes on my phone. This isn't a primary function of the reader though so it doesn't hinder my appreciation of the app.

great app, bad licensing its a great comic reader, I like it a lot! The only thing I'm missing is a sync from app back to desktop, until now it seems to be only the other way around. The license test is bad though, I can never use the app, when I don't have internet (like plane, subway, no-wifi in general...) if I didn't open the app before I went out. This would be great if it could at least switch to the free version then without me having to maintain 2 apps. Else really good

Adequate Comic Reader The reader is one of the best on the play store, however it is missing a very obvious feature that would make it perfect. Doing one or both of the following would make it fantastic: 1) Associating with common comic file types, to make it easy to open them from external file explorers. 2) Failing the above a better built in file explorer.

The best Comic Reader, but really buggy I've been using this app for several months now and frankly it's the best comic reader I have found when it's working. Lately the publisher has pushed updates that cause black pages to show at the front of every comic or misread the cover page. I've resorted to turning auto updates off on this one so that when I upgrade I can stop it on a version that works.

Does not work on nexus 7 App works once after installing or deleting the app data but after that it crashes on startup every time. Hoping for a fix as I love this app but for now I am going to have to find an alternative.

The best! I bought this after using the free version for a week or so. I don't need the wifi sync (I already load my tablet with comics/media using wifi), but this app is so good that I felt bad using the free version. I'm a developer and I know a well made app when I see (use) it. All the features I would have put in are already there - and then some! While using the free version I kept thinking "wow, this feature is really nice, but it would be even better if it had this too... wait a minute - it does". After that happened for the fifth or sixth time, I just bought the full version. The gestures for page turning need a little tweaking, but that's a very small thing compare to the things that just work right. Got for it, support the developer!

Best comic app on Android!! This is by far best comic app on Android with Perfect Reader being number 2. I was actually very happy with free app which is pretty good in itself. The ads were bit annoying sometimes but free version was still extremely good. I purchased paid to 1. Support the developers 2. No ads. ..... Hurray!! That being said, I would love to see page turning effect on this app which I feel is the only thing which stops it from perfect :-)

Free version seems to work better Had free version and worked great, now have all kinds of problems droid bionic with paid version. Force closes on bionic on startup after the first WiFi sync I did, free version works fine. Sent report to dev. Nexus 7 working good so far. 5* once bionic issue fixed

Naggging made me upgrade. Awesome product. I was very impressed with the free version and worked with it for a while but it seemed the "buy-me" nag screens got more and more frequent. But it did everything I wanted so I laid down the dollars, but the lame part is that my almost 8 bucks bought me almost nothing love free, except to remove the nags. I'd doesn't even import your settings or bookmarks from the free version, forcing me to ,manually recreate all of my bookmarks. Paid version should import settings and bookmarks.

Almost Perfect Allow me to get cbz and cbr file associations set, and this thing is the bomb. To be fair, i havent found a reader that does this, it might be a system limitation. It'd be nice to have direct box and dropbox access, like in comicbooklover over on ios, as well. Either of these options would get comicrack a 5 star rating from me.

Best comic viewer I've used I've tried onion, perfect, and android comic viewer, and pretty much every other comic reader app out there. So far comicrack has given me the best experience. Great UI, fast performance, great support. Can't really complain much. Some fixes would be appreciated though. Sometimes page turns won't work and I've crashed the app once or twice. Aside from these rare quibbles, this app is a must have if you have a tablet and read comics.

Sweet manna from heaven! The absolute BEST mobile comic reader and management tool. ComicRack helped me to introduce the world of comics to my kids. Now I can push my entire collection out to my mobile devices and I don't have to worry about them (or me) bending up my comics. If you don't use the desktop app (why not??) the Free version is great for reading or managing a small collection. But if you're like me and manage a large collection (8000+ comics) then the paid version is well worth the money. YAY wireless sync!

I am blown away. By far the best way to keep my comic collection synced up and ready to read. Automatically removes read comics and adds new ones using the wireless sync from anywhere in my house. Allows me to always keep my place in the book I'm currently reading, because it even syncs what page I've read to. Best money you can spend for people who love eComics. Super easy to use and ties in perfectly with the PC version. Pages turn super smooth, and everything works great. Thanks so much for this great app!

False description, does NOT support webcomics! In order to use w Read web comics, you have to use the windows program to convert them to a .cbz file, and then sync them to your device via WiFi. Once they are converted, they will no longer update to new comic releases, and you can use ANY comic reading apo to view them! FALSE ADVERTISING!

Best in the world Dont buy anything else. This is the best comic book organizer in the world, i own today over five thousand cbr cbz comics and this program does thr job. Also, one really cool feature to note is that this also reads rar as cbr, so if you own simply rar.zipped comic files, you are good to go. I love it.

Wonderful comics reader. Only reason I give 4 stars is the price. Other readers do a great job, too, but the options and speed of ComicRack make this a must have. Drop the price a few bucks, and it will be the hottest selling reader out. I bought because the price outweighs the intrusive ads in the free version, and it is far and away better than the other free readers. Changed because no longer passes license check...ever.

Best Comic Reader App Out There Lots of options, good support at the forum, great experience. I use it all the time and never had a crash or bug. Combined with the Windows app comics can be synced or exported to your device over wifi. I love it.

Great App, but updates have hurt it I love the app and use it frequently. One thing I have noticed is that, when I have a reading list set to only show unread comics, it used to remove comics from the list as I read them. It no longer does this, I have to switch to another view and back to unread to refresh it and remove the ones I have read. Annoying change.

Doesn't work on kindle fire I used the free version for a few weeks on my kindle fire and like it a lot so I bought the full version. I had to side load out to my fire and found out that to use the full version you have to be able to connect to the Android market therefore it does not work on kindle fire.

Cries home to mommy I use the PC and app version of this program. I was very pleased with the free version of the app and decided to support the developers, so I bough the app. It's the most expensive app on my tablet, and also one of the most used. I then go someplace that has no wifi for my tablet to connect to, and 5 days later the app stops working because it wants to cry home to verify that it's a valid copy. I make a special trip into town and download the free version. 7 days later, the free version still works fine and hasn't had any problems. Worst 8 bucks I ever spent.

Great program, the 2% of the time it opens Love this program, but really frustrated with the Android market check feature..even when connected via Wi-Fi; I still get the error message that I can't be verfied .. always at times when I just want to read my comics. Best comic reader This program is simply essential if you want to read comics on a tablet. This is why I am so glad I have an Android tablet and not an iPad. Love the reviewing and tweeting features. The only thing missing is the ability to stream comics over wifi from my PC. If that was here, I'd never do anything but read all day!
