POSITIVE LEADERSHIP AND THE RIGHT ATTITUDE.
Leadership must be by example. At first, harsh and unfamiliar conditions tend to be frightening. Marines will find themselves up against many challenges they have never met before and the environment will constantly remind them that they can become a casualty if they make mistakes. Aggressive leadership, which consistently meets and overcomes the challenges of the environment, is essential to mission accomplishment. There will be two enemies to contend with: the enemy soldier and the environment itself. The first step towards defeating these enemies is getting your Marines in the right mental attitude. The leader must maintain a positive attitude towards the mission, his Marines, and the equipment they have to carry out the job. You can be defeated psychologically, if you are not aware of the symptoms of a poorly motivated unit.

a. Core Values applied in a survival situation. Core value are very applicable to leadership in a surviv al situation. In the absence of constant adherence to our core values, subordinate Marines may suffer the consequences of injury and in extreme cases, DEATH.

b. Honor. Honor is integrity, responsibility, and accountability. Without honor in this type of environment, decisions are made with inaccurate and/or misleading information. Dishonorable actions or intentions ultimately lead to unethical behavior...trust between Marines will erode, dependability will become unimportant, and the resulting consequences to energy conservation will greatly affect a unit’s cohesion and ability to accomplish its mission.

c. Courage. Courage is doing the right thing for the right reason. Courage in this type of environment for small unit leaders to take charge of their unit. The added stress and pressure induced in mountainous terrain makes the tough decisions even tougher to make: courageous leaders take that extra step. Trust and confidence in leadership is built upon thorough training to ensure their men are capable of overcoming the fear and uncertainty of enemy and the harsh environment.

This Chicago Blackhawks Daily Stats app is produced by Infinite Monkeys.

We're basically just a couple of sports fans like you, with our own day jobs, but were frustrated by the big name corporate sports apps that were out there, so we decided to see if we could do better.

Then, one day while we were overlanding deep in the jungles of Borneo we came across a tribe of monkeys madly typing manuscripts on old manual typewriters next to a crashed and rusted out old WWII plane. We were amazed by what they were doing and showed them the iPad that we had with us. Well, one thing led to another and today Infinite Monkeys LLC is putting out a whole library of kick a$$ free apps.

We hope you like this one, and we're VERY open to any suggestions you have on how we can make it better.  We'll try to integrate whatever we can. Bare in mind please that the apps are free and we only earn from the ads, but we'll try to dedicate whatever we can to make this one, one of your very favorite apps.

Tim Hortons Finder+ (v. 1.63)

Find the nearest Tim Hortons with your Android and pick up a double-double or two! Avoid driving around searching for one.

This app uses your phone's GPS to locate the nearest Tim Hortons stores to your current position then displays them on a map or list. You can also search in a given city/neighbourhood, so you are not limited to your current location.
Wondering if a certain Tim Horton's store has a drive through? Open the store details page and see if it has it.
Distance, directions are also given for each store. Street View is also provided(When available) so you know how the area looks like before you drive there.
You can also write down orders from your friends/colleagues in the app itself so no need for an extra paper.

The app also works in offline mode when you don't have a data connection, so you can get your coffee fix even when you don't have reception :)

Note: Keep in mind that in offline mode, StreetView and Directions are not available. The map is also limited to whatever tiles cached on your phone.

CommuterCalc (v. 1.0)

The CommuterCalc helps drivers quickly compare commuting costs of hybrid versus electric cars versus their paid-off gas guzzler. It also allows one to change commuting scenarios by altering the number of days driven or altering distance(moving closer to work). As fuel costs increase, CommuterCalc can help drivers choose the most cost effective option for their particular scenario.

Hammock Tools calculates how high you should hang your hammock and how long the suspension should be if you can estimate the distance between trees.  It also takes into account the angle of your hammock, the length of your ridgeline and how high you want to be off the ground.  The best thing about it?  You don't need an internet connection or cell signal to use it!  Have fun hanging!
