SocialTicker streams Twitter content in a series of animated tickers. You DO NOT need a Twitter account to use the app.

Think of it as a browser for Twitter.

You can set the ticker feeds to preset lineups (news, business, entertainment, sports) or customize each ticker feed yourself. For custom ticker feeds, select from the built-in database, or enter any Twitter @account or search term. When you have a custom lineup that you like, save it. It can be reloaded anytime. (150 saved lineups max).

As the Twitter content is streaming by, touch any ticker to read the full Tweet. You can follow web links embedded in the Tweet and fetch Tweets from @users or with #hash tags.

To advance the ticker to the next Tweet, just swipe the ticker from right to left. Be sure to touch the left edge of the screen.

Scan the tickers for Tweets that you want to read, swipe away the rest. Keep up with the latest breaking news all day long. Create a lineup of your Twitter friends. Follow the cast of Jersey Shore in a custom lineup. Create a lineup of your favorite sports team. Monitor the subway, police crime reports and airport delays in another custom lineup.

This application will only work with the pro version of LauncherPro Plus with theme engine.  You can download that application here: http://bit.ly/esPpFt.

- ALL 9 LauncherPro Plus widgets are themed via this application.
- You still need to purchase the Market unlocker for LauncherPro to gain access to the widgets.  The unlocker can be found here: http://bit.ly/fYU47o.
- This will work if you have purchased the Paypal version of LauncherPro, as long as you install the beta application mentioned above.
- Install this application, then go to LauncherPro Preferences->LP Widget Settings->Select the widget you want to theme->Select Skin->signals23-BLURPS-GREY.  Backout and restart

LauncherPro to see the changes.

CURRENT LIMITATIONS OF THE LAUNCHERPRO THEME ENGINE:

- I can't change the color of the notification bubbles
- I can't move the refresh icon
- I can't change the padding of the widgets to fullscreen
- I can't put an image behind an individual contact or bookmark grid item

When these things are implemented, I will update the themes accordingly.
