《白发魔女传》武侠小说是作家梁羽生的作品，于1957年8月5—1958年9月8日发表。叙述的是明万历四十三年凉秋，云贵总督卓仲廉卸任归故乡陕北，途经川陕边境时被劫富济贫的绿林女大盗“玉罗刹”练霓裳劫去大部分财产。随行护送的武当弟子耿绍南，因傲慢不逊被削去左手二指，以示惩戒，练霓裳自此与武当派结怨。百姓反抗政府，下属背叛上级，奸佞出卖国家，反抗与自由的精神交织在一起，就是那个时代的精神。
    明万历四十三年凉秋，云贵总督卓仲廉卸任归故乡陕北，途经川陕边境时被劫富济贫的绿林女大盗“玉罗刹”练霓裳劫去财物。随行护送的武当弟子耿绍南，因傲慢不逊被削去左手二指，以示惩戒，练霓裳自此与武当派结怨。此后不久，朝廷发生了“杖击案”，卓仲廉之子户部侍郎卓继贤被人诬陷入狱致死。卓仲廉之孙，武当派紫阳道长之高徒卓一航闯王府，揭穿了福王和郑贵妃之阴谋，为父平反，并深受太子常洛之赏识。之后卓一航携父灵自京回乡，途经华山，卓一航结识了一位相貌出众的少女，两人彼此间有着深深的好感。不料第二天晚上，卓一航参与宫廷卫士围攻玉罗刹一役中，却发觉日间相识的少女竟是玉罗刹，卓一航大为震惊，两人不得不拨剑相向。在决战中，卓一航明白主持围攻玉罗刹的宫廷卫士竟是满族奸细，二人联手打败了一众敌人。旋又结识了武林高手，辽东经略使熊廷弼麾下将官岳鸣柯，练霓裳与之比剑，方知原是同门。练的师傅凌慕华和岳的师父霍天都本是一对赌气分手的恩爱夫妻。卓、岳二人从凌慕华的遗书中得知练霓裳自出生后，母死父弃，母狼乳大，三四岁才得其师收养，个性强悍而单纯。卓一航归家不久，祖父卓仲廉因禁受不了丧子之痛而身亡，不久卓一航也被人陷害而坐牢，练霓裳闻讯后前来相救。劫狱后练霓裳遭遇武林大豪铁飞龙，两人误斗一场而后练认其为义父。武当掌门紫阳道长逝世，遗命卓一航为继任掌门，一众武当同门在铁飞龙家中与练相遇，练霓裳再败卓的师叔红云道长，双方梁子越来越深。卓一航陷入苦恼之中，推托要守孝申冤，缓任三年。安葬师父之后，卓一航与师叔白石道长一同北上申冤。遇岳鸣柯与河南嵩山，两人引为知交。
　　岳鸣柯应熊廷弼之命自陕赴京，途中与黑道高手“阴风毒砂掌”金独异遭遇，一场恶斗，岳中毒受伤，幸得铁飞龙之女铁珊瑚相救，两人心中滋生柔情，同赴北京。进京后适逢即位不久的光宗朱常洛误食“红丸”而架崩。熹宗朱由校即位，太监魏忠贤和由校乳娘客氏挟天子以令群臣。熊廷弼甫抵京就被矫旨捉拿并屡遇险情，幸得岳鸣柯、卓一航、练霓裳、铁飞龙等相救才得以脱险。而这时金独异之妻红花鬼母出山约战铁飞龙，练霓裳凭机智、武功击败了红花鬼母，金独异也再次受到重伤。熊廷弼辞官瑟岳鸣柯、卓一航及其师叔白石道长离京回湖北，练霓裳与铁飞龙随后赶到嵩山相遇。白石和红云道长阻止练与卓一航会面，双方狠斗一场，白石道长等再次败退，双方积怨更深。卓一航回家守孝，练霓裳闻知朝廷大军到陕西剿匪，急急赶回。途中遇闯王李自成，获知自己的山寨已被官军攻破，余部逃入四川。旋即入川聚集旧部，与铁珊瑚一道在广元明月峡再立山头。此后，朝廷重新启用熊廷弼任辽东经略使，但实权旁落，部下不听指挥而轻敌冒进，导致全军覆没。魏忠贤借机杀死了熊廷弼，派锦衣卫缉拿岳鸣柯，岳鸣柯只身逃往四川，在广元遇到卓一航、练霓裳相救而脱险。
　　卓一航守孝三年期满，其师叔红云、白石道长率众弟子入陕迎接新任掌门。途经广元，玉罗刹将卓一航“劫”至明月峡山寨，并表明了心迹，要与卓一航合籍双修，同研武功。卓一航碍于师门偏见，一时不敢答应。气量狭窄的白石、红云道长，为找回卓一航并报复玉罗刹，与官兵联手攻破明月峡，纵火焚毁山寨。寨中女兵几乎全部战死，铁珊瑚也死在金独异之手。岳鸣柯杀死金独异之后远走天山，出家为僧，法名晦明禅师，精研武功，成为开创天山派一代宗师。练霓裳与铁飞龙再度赴京，将岳鸣柯冒死带出的能廷弼兵书《辽东论》转送给边关大战袁崇焕。卓一航托人捎信给练霓裳，极表爱恋之意，练霓裳逐离京南下武当山。
　　卓一航自明月峡回山后，对练霓裳念念不忘，如痴如傻，除了练武之外，百事不问。空担掌门之职，诸事都由众师叔办理，忧心忡忡的师叔们将这一切归罪于练对卓的诱惑，将她认为本门公敌。练霓裳上得武当，双方一番倾诉，卓一航终于决定放下一切随练而去。但这时卓的四位师叔联手布成剑阵围攻练霓裳，一场恶斗，杀得天昏地暗。武当四大长老均负伤，而危急关头，卓一航面对爱人和师门之争难以自处，受人怂恿而发弹助战，练霓裳为此伤心欲绝，爱恨交织，一觉睡醒，头发全白。她对自己的绝世容颜极为爱惜自豪，谁知一夜之间，竟从美貌少女变成白发老妇，心灰意冷难受至极，从此退出中原武林，远走天山南峰，但其喜欢找人比武的个性未改，隐居之余，也下山为民除害，开找成名人物比武，将其打败，从此人称白发魔女。
　　而练霓裳走后，卓一航如疯似狂，形同白痴。一日突被人点醒，心中的忧郁犹如火山喷发，他终于不顾一切地冲下武当山，追寻练霓裳的踪迹。一番辛苦，直至晦明禅师隐居的天山北高峰，他终于得知了练隐居于天山南高峰，即冒雪前往寻访。然练已心灰意冷，不肯谅解和好。卓一航失望而归，自此在天山南北、草原沙漠中漫游行侠，收下徒弟辛龙子。从辛龙子口中，卓一航终寻得传说中能使白发变黑的优昙仙花，却因该花已开过，尚需六十年的守候，卓决意守候至仙花开放之日。
　　武当白石道人携女儿何绿华远赴新疆寻卓一航回山，沙漠遇敌，白石被擒。卓一航路过救下何绿华，自己也中毒受伤。正在何绿华为卓一航疗伤之时，练霓裳寻到，误会卓一航正与聪明活泼的小师妹相好，醋意大发，气极而去。卓一航无奈，单身闯敌巢营救师叔，却因敌方高手如云，卓一航遭遇风险。练终不忍见卓一航孤身送死，以绝顶武功救卓一航及白石道长脱险。卓一航再次表明心迹，但练霓裳心灰已极，不听解释，飘然而云，宁愿留一点未了之情，彼此相忆。
　　卓一航长叹一声，心潮浪涌，悲从中来。数十年的情事在他心头掠过，历历往事如在眼前，有忏悔、有悲伤，有柔情密意，有伤心误会，最伤心的是往者已矣，来者又未必可追，所能做的，唯有夜夜相思长相忆，等候着优昙仙花再开的那一天。

The current features are:
- Reacts on touch (can be disabled)
- Different colors
- Special color that varies with your battery state (Select color "Varies with battery" in settings)
- Number particles displayed is configurable
- Refresh rate is configurable (High refresh rate gives smoother motion but consumes more battery)
- Moving speed of the particles is configurable

New features will be added soon.

Once Particles Wallpaper is installed on your device, you must complete the following steps to activate it:
- Go to your home screen.
- Press the "menu" button on your device.
- Select "Wallpaper".
- Select "Live Wallpapers".
- Search and select "Particles Wallpaper".
- Select "Settings" to see the settings or select "Set wallpaper" to activate it.
