The TI-8X series of calculators work great as standalone calculators, showing 8 lines of history, using standard mathematical notation. Each model was designed with more specific purposes in mind:

The TI-82 is designed for algebra and trigonometry. Graph and compare functions, perform variable substitution, and solve single variable equations.

The TI-83 is designed for statistics and trigonometry. Graph and compare functions, and perform data plotting and analysis.

The TI-85 is great for engineering and computer science. Graph and compare functions, perform bit manipulation and convert between numeric bases.

The TI-86 is great for engineering and calculus. Graph and compare functions, perform bit manipulation and convert between numeric bases. Solve differential equations, plot vector fields.

All models allow you to write programs in TI-BASIC and perform basic scientific calculator operations.

Note: It is live wallpaper so you can't open the app, you will need to follow the instruction above in order to set the wallpaper. Also slower/older devices (shipped with Android OS below 2.1) can't run it too, currently it has been tested on Nexus S, HTC Desire and Samsung tab so any mobile devices that is equivalent to them should run fine.

If you have put the app on SD card and restarted the phone, the wallpaper will reset to default since the system couldn't find the app first.

Quizz'n Spanish - Free/Ad Free (v. 1.0)

Quizzn Spanish is a free, ad-free, open source flashcard/quiz application to learn Spanish language vocabulary.  Choose from word categories, and then choose whether you want the quiz word in English or in Spanish.  Four options of other words are presented, only one of which is the right answer.  The application shows your progress in each category (for recognizing the quiz words in English, and for recognizing it in Spanish).  If you answer the correct word, you are not quizzed on it again.  If you miss a word, it stays in the deck of cards that you are quizzed on until you’ve identified it correctly two times.

This free version of the application contains vocabulary lists in the following categories:  Anatomy, Emotions, Food, Kitchen Items, Medical, Money, and Occupations.

Elija entre categorías de palabras, y elija si desea que la palabra cuestionario en Inglés o en Español. Cuatro opciones de palabras se presentan, pero sólo una es la respuesta correcta. La aplicación muestra su progreso en cada categoría del concurso (para el reconocimiento de las palabras cuestionario en Inglés, y tambien por reconocerque en español). This Vivendi app allows users to browse and experience the Vivendi corporate documents on their Samsung Galaxy, in English and French.

The documents are reproduced in their original full-colour format and allow users to quickly and efficiently consume key corporate content soon after these are published.
